Job Description<br><br>The Behavioral Technician will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, and school settings.<br><br>Responsibilities<br><br>Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements. <p>The Design & Technology and ICT Technician supports the
safe, efficient and effective delivery of Design & Technology, Electronics,
Product Design and ICT across Key Stage 3, GCSE and Post-16.</p><br>
<p>The technician provides practical, technical and
organisational support to staff and students, ensuring that workshops, ICT
facilities, equipment and resources are prepared, maintained and available to
support high-quality teaching and learning.</p><br>
<p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><br>
<p><b>Workshop, Laboratory and Resource Preparation</b></p><br>
<p><span><span>·</span></span>Prepare DT workshops, ICT
rooms and specialist teaching spaces for lessons.</p><br>
<p><span><span>·</span></span>Set up and organise tools,
machinery, materials, components, consumables and PPE.</p><br>
<p><span><span>·</span></span>Prepare resources for
practical projects, coursework, assessments, exhibitions and examinations.</p><br>
<p><span><span>·</span></span>Maintain organised, safe
and productive learning environments.</p><br>
<p><span><span>·</span></span>Create, label, store and
manage student work and departmental resources.</p><br>
<p><span><span>·</span></span>Prepare and manage CAD/CAM
resources, including 3D printing, laser cutting and CNC manufacture.</p><br>
<p><b>Technical and Curriculum Support</b></p><br>

students during practical and digital lessons.</p><br>
<p><span><span>·</span></span>Demonstrate safe use of
equipment, tools, machinery and software where appropriate.</p><br>

practical manufacturing, electronics, prototyping, coding and digital design
activities.</p><br>

problem-solving during lessons.</p><br>

Design & Technology, Electronics, Product Design, Computing and ICT

<p><b>ICT and Digital Systems Support</b></p><br>

computers, laptops, tablets, printers and other classroom technology.</p><br>

software, hardware, login, connectivity and printing issues.</p><br>
<p><span><span>·</span></span>Install, update and test
approved software as required.</p><br>
<p><span><span>·</span></span>Support the effective use
of digital learning platforms and specialist curriculum software.</p><br>
<p><span><span>·</span></span>Liaise with the IT
department regarding more complex technical issues.</p><br>

tools, ICT equipment and specialist resources in safe working order.</p><br>

cleaning, calibration and basic maintenance.</p><br>
