<span><br>POSITION SUMMARY<br>Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues with little to no supervision. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio). Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed. Assure each day’s activities and problems that occur are communicated to the other shifts using approved communication programs and standards. Display advanced ability to read standard blue prints and electrical schematics concerning plumbing and HVAC. Display above average engineering operations skills and strong general mechanical ability. Display proficiency in at least three of the following categories, above average skills in three more of the following categories and basic skills in the remaining categories: air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building management. Display solid knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials required to perform repair and maintenance tasks. Safely perform highly complex repairs of the physical property, electrical, plumbing and mechanical equipment, air conditioners, refrigeration and pool heaters - ensuring all methods, materials and practices meet company standards and Local and National codes - with little or no supervision. Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work. Display advanced knowledge of all engineering computer programs related to preventative maintenance, energy management, and other systems, including devices that interact with such programs. Perform advanced troubleshooting of hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Display the ability to train and mentor other engineers as necessary. Display ability to perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including readings and rounds.<br>Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. <p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p><b>1. Team & Technical Leadership:</b></p><p>1) Lead, mentor, and manage a mixed team of ~10 mechanical and electronic service engineers.</p><p>2) Act as the primary technical expert and final escalation point for all complex diagnostic and repair challenges.</p><p>3) Plan and manage engineer schedules, dispatching the right skills for 24/7 emergency call-outs, planned maintenance, and major projects.</p><p>4) Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and develop the technical competency of the team.</p><p>5) Foster a strong culture of safety (HSE), quality, and first-time-fix problem-solving.</p><p><br></p><p><b>2. Service Operations Management :</b></p><p>1) Oversee the entire service workflow, from customer call and quotation to job execution and final invoicing.</p><p>2) Ensure all service work (maintenance, repair, overhaul) is executed to OEM (Cummins) standards and meets marine classification society (e.g., DNV, BV, LR) requirements.</p><p>3) Review and approve all technical service reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timely submission to clients.</p><p>4) Implement and optimize service processes to improve response time, efficiency, and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).</p><p><b>3. Expert Technical Execution (Hands-on) :</b></p><p>1) Personally lead or supervise complex troubleshooting of advanced mechanical issues (e.g., fuel systems, engine performance) and electronic/control systems (e.g., PCC, Deep Sea, AVRs, governors, synchronization).</p><p>2) Plan, scope, and manage major overhaul projects, both on-board vessels and in the workshop, ensuring all tolerances and procedures are met.</p><p>3) Oversee and sign off on the commissioning of new and repaired generator sets, including load bank testing and sea trials.</p><p><b>4. Customer & Commercial Management :</b></p><p>1) Serve as the key technical point of contact for high-value clients, including ship owners, fleet managers, and chief engineers.</p><p>2) Handle and resolve any client escalations or service disputes professionally.</p><p>3) Work closely with the parts and sales teams to provide expert technical scoping for complex repair and overhaul quotations, ensuring profitability and accuracy.</p><p>Skills</p><p><b>Required Qualifications & Experience (Must-Haves) :</b></p><p>1.Minimum 7-10 years of direct, hands-on field experience specifically with Cummins marine generator sets (e.g., KTA19, KTA38, KTA50, QSK-60, Onan).</p><p>2.Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, leading a technical service team.</p><p>3.Expert-level, proven experience in the following three areas:</p><p><b>1) Troubleshooting:</b> Advanced diagnostics of complex mechanical failures AND electronic control systems.</p><p><b>2) Overhaul: </b> Proven experience managing or leading full "major" engine overhauls.</p><p><b>3) Commissioning: </b>Onboard installation, paralleling / synchronization, and load testing.</p><p><b>4.Essential: Expert-level proficiency with Cummins diagnostic software</b> (e.g., Cummins Insite, Incal) and related diagnostic tools.</p><p>5.Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, power generation, and protection relays.</p><p>6.Valid UAE Driver's License and willingness to travel to ports/vessels across the UAE.</p> </div><h2 class="h5">Skills</h2>

Liaise and act as the focal point between the ships and the organization and monitor all aspects of safety, certifications and regulatory requirements. <p>We are looking for an Assistant Technician-Facility Maintenance Pump Mechanic to carryout preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on various types of pumps individually or as part of a technical team, within a designated area, whilst ensuring minimal disruption to the operations. Carry out all technical and safety instructions from staff, to conform to policy and procedures.</p><p> </p><p>Key accountabilities</p><ul><li>Ability to conform to all general and technical safety requirements at all times to ensure the health, safety & welfare of self and others at work</li><li>Any other work as assigned by the supervisor / duty engineer to achieve the purpose.</li><li>Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS)</li><li>Can correctly setup and use test equipment and interpret the test results to include: Manometer, Water pressure test kit – Dry, Water pressure test kit – Wet, Digital Multi meter (earth bond continuity)</li><li>Knowledge in the use & interpretation of Local and International Plumbing & Pipework Standards and Regulations.</li><li>Assets Exposure (Direct); Pumps, Pressure Vassals, Oil Interceptor, Back Flow Preventer assembly, Faucet and Fixtures, Water Heaters, Pressure Vassals, Toilet fixtures and appliances</li><li>Perform maintenance tasks as team and solo, Periodic Preventive Maintenance, Breakdown Trouble Shooting, Inspections Condition Assessment, Condition Based Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Configuration and Modifications</li><li>Potable water pipework systems and associated valves, Waste and drainage pipework systems, Washroom sanitary fixtures and fittings, Pressure reducing valve stations (PRVs) Heat exchangers, Calorifiers, Storage type water heaters etc.</li><li>High temperature hot water (HTHW) pipework systems and associated valves, Chilled water pumps (CWP) pipework systems and associated valves, Sewage pumps and associated pipework, Storm water pumps and associated pipework.</li></ul><p><br></p> </div><h2 class="h5">Skills</h2>
