<p>As a Specialist, Asset Servicing, you will be a key player in our SSO team, dedicated to delivering exceptional custody services. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing client relationships, ensuring compliance, and driving the overall efficiency of our custody operations.</p><br><ul><li>Responsible for the end to end corporate actions processing in accordance with regulatory and compliance requirements, with an increased focus on accurate and timely execution to enhance the client experience.</li><li>Responsible for daily monitoring and processing of Corporate Actions processes covering Domestic and Regional and International Market for both mandatory and voluntary specific corporate actions functions of diverse products like equities mutual funds, fixed income , hedge fund , structured funds , ETF and ensuring highest quality of client service delivery as per international standards.</li><li>Responsible for handling moderately intricate to extremely complex corporate action events across Local, Regional, International Markets. Processing responsibilities include the receipt of market / sub custodian announcements, the scrubbing/comparison of data, and the notification of corporate action events to client. Reconciliation of client positions with respective sub custodians and markets and monitors appropriate posting of accruals and entitlements to client accounts. Escalate all mismatches to AVP. Validate all data entered into the system and forward to AVP for review. On settlement date of transaction ensure transaction settled and all appropriate accounting entries executed. Escalate any settlement issues / discrepancies to AVP Validate and Sign any vouchers that need to be passed for FX / Cash execution for review by the AVP.</li><li>Corporate Actions / support Tax Reclaims/ Proxy: Monitoring sources for Corporate Action Announcements (Newspapers, Bloomberg, Reuters, Sub-Custodians, Local Market Websites) and submitting information to officer / another specialist for input into the system, supporting Tax Reclaims and Proxy Services. Validate all transactions entered by officer / another specialist into the custody system and ensuring that transactions are processed appropriately.</li><li>Position / Cash Management: Review clients’ positions and holdings daily and reconcile positions with sub-custodians and market to ensure there are no discrepancies. Escalate any discrepancies to AVP. Daily review of client’s cash positions to ensure all clients have appropriate funding and escalating to AVP and Middle Office any potential over drafts or if client is at risk of being insufficient.</li><li>SWIFTS: Validate swift instructions inputted by officer / another specialist into the system for AVP to Authorize. Second Level of SWIFT generation process.</li><li>Reconciliation: Second level of reconciliation ensuring all appropriate checks are done to ensure there are no discrepancies and escalating any issues to the AVP. </li><li>Ad Hoc Requests: Supporting the AVP as required for business-as-usual matters and projects and initiatives.</li><li>Risk Indicators: Responsible to ensure controls and procedures are being adhered to by the section. Coordinate the identification and elicitation of requirements; conduct analysis of those requirements for completion and alignment; document and manage requirements throughout the life of the project; and coordinate the verification of the end deliverable. Coordinate with MEP design Consultants to ensure the correlations of all services within Architectural designs. Manage the delivery of research, workshops, and other activities to support the specification and agreement of project deliverables. Plan and deliver stakeholder engagement activities to develop effective working relationships for projects and to ensure that stakeholder needs and concerns are identified and met. Produce workstream or project plans and program, ensuring that all activities are identified, appropriately organized to deliver project objectives, and comply with the organization's project management framework. Define project success criteria and develop full-scale project plans and associated communications /documents, effectively control, & disseminate them to involved parties in a timely and clear fashion. Establish project construction program, long lead and nomination schedules, drawing and material tracking schedule etc. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans with approval from senior management. Coordinate with territory projects team; communicate the necessary outcomes and the direction required to achieve them; coordinate team actions on project tasks; request additional team member support when needed; and identify areas of improvement to build the capability of the team through training, coaching, and mentoring. Conduct / attend site progress meetings with subcontractors / territory teams / consultant, ensure programme adherence, submit project progress reports, flag and resolve any contractual / commercial issues affecting the project progress, inclusive of EOT criteria. Cost reports to be prepared along with site QS and present monthly site progress reports at cost meetings. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation. Effectively monitor and manage variations or deviations from the BOQ or orders placed and ensure approval by concept team, in conjunction with site and territory QS. Receive and manage snag list from consultant and ensure timely completion of project including close out procedures as stipulated in Project Blue book. Support the design team/ QS team with technical inputs, unit specifications and design information required for design intent drawings, capex inputs and tender preparation. Review and manage technical documentation including shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, and variation requests. Prepare moderately complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports. Assign short-term work schedules to a team of subordinates in order to achieve expectations while following established timelines. Conduct assurance reviews within the project, facilitate the delivery of assurance reviews by independent third parties, and take appropriate action to resolve any issues identified, so that senior stakeholders have confidence that the project can deliver according to time, budget, and quality. Liaise with supply chain and third-party vendors and verifying procurement status. Draft project review reports and presentations, including key information, commentary, and recommendations, to support the review process and enable stakeholders to evaluate progress and agree on change. Manage the deployment of project resources, proactively managing project costs, providing forecasts, and presenting variances with narrative at appropriate review points to ensure effective utilization. Identify and evaluate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating matters where appropriate. Where necessary, develop, agree on, and implement solutions to overcome these concerns. Draft elements of product documentation and user training to support handover to business as usual. Contribute to post-project reviews and identification of lessons learned. Documenting Lessons Learned and sharing knowledge within department team members to mitigate risks and continuously enhance processes and deliverables. Support quantity and invoice verification and certification of completed works. Contribute to reviewing existing operations in own area of work and generate new ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements. Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfil personal potential. Experience: Graduate with 10+ years’ extensive fit-out site experience with at least 5 years in a senior role leading and managing independent client retail projects/ site development projects (mandatory). Proven track record in planning managing & delivering fit-out projects throughout the project’s lifecycle, within set budget & timelines.
