Job Purpose<br>The Lead Solution Architect – OSS, ITSM, ITOM, Observability & AIOps is responsible for defining, evaluating, and designing intelligent operations platform architectures that enable advanced service management, operational visibility, automation, and managed services across complex ICT customer environments.<br>The role provides senior technical leadership throughout the pre-sales and solution lifecycle, translating customer business and operational requirements into scalable, secure, integrated, and future-ready architectures.<br>The position will lead platform toward automated, data-driven, and AI-enabled operations.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Solution Architecture & Design<br>- Lead the end-to-end architecture and solution design of OSS, ITSM, ITOM, Observability, Automation, and AIOps platforms across complex ICT environments.- Design unified operational architectures that integrate service management, monitoring, event management, observability, automation, orchestration, analytics, and AI-driven operations.- Develop scalable and secure architectures that support enterprise and managed-service operating models.- Define end-to-end integration architectures between OSS, ITSM, ITOM, Observability, AIOps, orchestration, automation, cloud, network, security, and enterprise platforms.- Ensure interoperability between operational platforms and alignment with enterprise architecture and service management frameworks.<br>Technical Pre-Sales & Customer Engagement<br>- Lead technical pre-sales activities for OSS, ITSM, ITOM, Observability, and AIOps solutions across strategic ICT opportunities.- Analyze ITTs, RFPs, RFIs, and customer requirements and translate them into comprehensive technical architectures and solution designs.- Develop technical solution strategies, architecture proposals, solution narratives, compliance responses, and technical presentations.- Participate in customer workshops, discovery sessions, technical presentations, solution defenses, and architecture reviews.- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers on operational transformation, service management, observability, automation, and intelligent operations.- Work closely with sales, commercial, delivery, engineering, OEM, and partner teams to develop technically viable and commercially competitive solutions.<br>Platform Evaluation & Technology Selection<br>- Evaluate and recommend OSS, ITSM, ITOM, Observability, and AIOps platforms based on customer requirements, architecture principles, operational objectives, and industry best practices.- Assess OEM and technology solutions across functionality, scalability, security, interoperability, automation capability, integration complexity, and technology roadmap.- Lead Proof of Concept (POC), Proof of Value (POV), benchmarking, and technical assessment activities to support technology selection.- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends across intelligent operations, Gen AI/AIOps, observability, automation, and service management.<br>Intelligent Operations & AIOps<br>- Design intelligent operations architectures combining telemetry, monitoring, observability, event correlation, analytics, automation, orchestration, and AIOps.- Define solutions that improve service assurance, incident detection, event management, root-cause analysis, operational efficiency, and service availability.- Identify opportunities to automate operational processes and reduce manual intervention through orchestration, workflow automation, and AI-driven capabilities.- Define architectures supporting proactive and predictive operations across complex ICT environments.<br>Platform Strategy & Modernization<br>- Develop OSS, ITSM, ITOM, Observability, and AIOps platform modernization and evolution roadmaps aligned with customer business and digital transformation objectives.- Assess existing operational environments, identify architecture gaps, and define target-state architectures and transformation approaches.- Support customers in consolidating fragmented operational tools and transitioning toward integrated enterprise service management and intelligent operations platforms.<br>Architecture Governance<br>- Establish architecture standards, reference architectures, design principles, integration patterns, and technology governance across OSS, ITSM, ITOM, Observability, and AIOps domains.- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure proposed solutions comply with security, scalability, availability, integration, and operational requirements.- Provide technical governance throughout the solution lifecycle from pre-sales and design through implementation and operational handover.<br>Qualifications & Experience<br>- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience within ICT, telecommunications, systems integration, managed services, or enterprise technology environments.- Strong experience in solution architecture involving OSS, ITSM, ITOM, Observability, AIOps, or enterprise operations platforms.- Demonstrated experience leading technical pre-sales activities for complex ICT opportunities, including RFPs, RFIs, ITTs, solution workshops, and customer presentations.- Hands-on architecture experience integrating multiple operational and enterprise technology platforms.- Experience designing solutions for large-scale enterprise, telecom, managed services, or multi-domain ICT environments.- Strong understanding of ITIL/service management principles and modern enterprise operations models.- Experience evaluating OEM platforms and Acting as a lead engineer offshore and share the conceptual and practical expertise related to the field engineering discipline. Provide solutions and prepares mitigation plan to resolve complex problems and applies their discipline specific knowledge to improve the process and services. Senior Field Engineer plays a pivotal role with customers, client, project or service activities with the team assigned, being within the specifications, standards as applicable for the client side and follow Mcdermott guideline and policies.<br><br>Responsibilities<br><br>Key Tasks and Responsibilities:<br><br> Review all technical project documents upon contract award and identify any differences or discrepancies between pre-contract and post-contract documents, as well as deficiencies in tender method statements Attend bid interviews with local Management and participate in global management reviews Ensure all bid inputs have been reviewed and approved by the Division Manager and General Superintendent before submittal.
