Job Summary
The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all logistics, transportation, import/export, warehousing, and customs activities related to armored vehicles, defense equipment, and government contracts. <p><strong>JOB OVERVIEW</strong></p><br><br><p>The Customs Entry Agent ensures 100% compliance with all regulatory requirements related to customs clearance. He / She should have clear understanding of department KPI’s and Network Operations and ensure timely customs clearance of shipments taking into consideration that all DHL customers have an express requirement and are looking for instant and immediate action. Accuracy and Speed are key characteristics with organising and prioritising the job within the stipulated timeframe. The incumbent should be a self learner, detail oriented and an excellent team player.</p><br><br><p><strong>MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><br><br><ul><li>Declare all custom pre-alerts on time.</li><li>Ensure accuracy of HSCODE, Goods country of origin, no of pieces, weight value, and currency while lodging an entry to customs.</li><li>All clearance through Mirsal 2 / B2G has to be submitted at line items.</li><li>Shipments which require special handling needs to be updated with appropriate preset ACA statuses / Bond Reasons.</li><li>Shipments cleared which requires regulatory approvals should be handed over to the respective supervisors for getting it endorsed by the inspection.</li><li>Follow Gateway clearance procedures as outlined in the GSOP manual and ensure strict compliance with all regulatory requirements.</li><li>Ensure proper record keeping is done and reports & files are updated timely and appropriately.</li><li>Should be a Self learner and should keep himself updated with the current changes in the customs rules and regulations and with the current trends of shipping and logistics industry.</li><li>DUBAITRADE, DCE, DCC, ACA, CIA, GIA, GDI and other Gateway Applications.</li><li>The department operates 24 x 7 - 365 days. The incumbent is required to work in day / night shifts. You will design the systems, build the team, and execute the strategy that allows us to manufacture precision robotics hardware reliably, cost-effectively, and at pace. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership position suited to someone who has built supply chains in complex hardware environments ideally in robotics and who thrives in the ambiguity of an early-stage venture.<br><br>Responsibilities<br><br>Design and implement the end-to-end supply chain architecture for multi-component robotic systems, from mechanical and electrical to software-integrated assemblies. Identify, qualify, and manage a global supplier base covering precision machining, electronics, actuators, sensors, and custom sub-assemblies. The ADNOC PMC project role would be based initially in Client or Contractors Office in Abu Dhabi.</p><br><br><p><b>Job Purpose</b></p><br><br><p>The Logistics Lead is responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating all logistics activities supporting ADNOC Offshore operations and projects. The role ensures the efficient movement of personnel, materials, equipment, vessels, and cargo between onshore bases and offshore assets while maintaining compliance with ADNOC HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and operational objectives.</p><br><br><p>The Logistics Lead plays a key role in supporting offshore production, drilling, maintenance, construction, and project execution activities through effective logistics planning, marine coordination, aviation support, warehousing, and supply chain management.</p><br><br><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><br><br><p><b>Logistics Planning & Coordination</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Lead and coordinate logistics operations supporting offshore production facilities, drilling rigs, artificial islands, offshore platforms, and project sites.</li><li>Develop and implement logistics plans for offshore operations, maintenance campaigns, shutdowns, and capital projects.</li><li>Ensure timely transportation of equipment, materials, spare parts, and consumables to offshore locations.</li><li>Coordinate logistics activities between ADNOC Offshore, contractors, suppliers, marine operators, and aviation service providers.</li><li>Optimize logistics resources to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.</li></ul><p><b>Marine & Aviation Logistics</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Coordinate offshore vessel movements, including:<ul><li>Supply Vessels</li><li>Crew Boats</li><li>Barges</li><li>Anchor Handling Vessels</li><li>Construction Support Vessels</li></ul></li><li>Monitor vessel utilization and Management</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Manage logistics contractors, freight forwarders, marine operators, and service providers.</li><li>Monitor contractor performance against KPIs and service agreements.</li><li>Support tender evaluations and contract administration activities.</li><li>Conduct logistics performance reviews and identify improvement opportunities.</li></ul><p><b>Reporting & Performance Monitoring</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Develop logistics performance reports and dashboards.</li><li>Monitor logistics KPIs related to:<ul><li>Material delivery performance</li><li>Vessel Qualifications</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering</li><li>Professional certifications in Logistics or Supply Chain Management are preferred.</li></ul><br><p><b>Preferred Certifications</b></p><br><br><ul><li>APICS CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)</li><li>CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport)</li><li>PMP (Project Management Professional)</li><li>NEBOSH or IOSH Certification</li><li>Marine Logistics Certification (preferred)</li></ul><br><p><b>Experience Requirements</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Minimum <b>15 years</b> of logistics and supply chain experience within the Oil & Gas industry.</li><li>At least <b>5 years</b> in a supervisory or lead logistics role.</li><li>Extensive offshore logistics experience supporting production and project operations.</li><li>Strong knowledge of marine and aviation logistics.</li><li>Experience supporting ADNOC Offshore, ADNOC Drilling, or major offshore operators is highly
