Job Purpose:<br>The Design & Technology Technician (Resistant Materials) supports the safe, effective and efficient delivery of practical learning within the Design & Technology department, with a primary focus on Resistant Materials, Product Design and workshop-based activities.<br>The technician provides practical, technical and organisational support to staff and students, ensuring workshops, machinery, materials and resources are prepared, maintained and available to support high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stage 3, GCSE and Post-16.<br>Key Responsibilities:<br>Workshop Preparation and Technical Support Prepare workshops, machinery, tools, materials and resources for lessons and practical activities. We are looking for a dynamic IT Recruiter cum HR Executive who will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for IT roles while also supporting core HR functions such as onboarding, employee engagement, and HR operations. The ideal candidate should have strong sourcing skills, understanding of technical roles, and hands-on HR experience.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment (Primary Responsibility)
Handle end-to-end IT recruitment (sourcing to onboarding)
Source candidates via job portals (LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed), referrals, and networking
Screen resumes and conduct initial HR interviews
Coordinate technical interviews with hiring managers
Maintain candidate pipeline and database
Negotiate offers and manage candidate closures
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring cycle
HR Operations
Manage employee onboarding and induction process
Prepare HR documents (offer letters, contracts, letters, etc.)
Maintain employee records and HR databases
Support payroll inputs, attendance, and leave management
Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws
Handle employee queries and HR-related concerns
Employee Engagement & Support
Assist in employee engagement activities
Support performance management process
Help in implementing HR policies and procedures
Maintain a healthy workplace culture
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
2–5 years of experience in IT recruitment and HR generalist role
Strong knowledge of IT roles (Developers, Network, Cybersecurity, Cloud, etc.)
Familiarity with UAE labor laws and HR practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple roles and deadlines
Experience with HRMS tools (Zoho, SAP, or similar) is a plus
Preferred Skills
Experience hiring for Cybersecurity, DevOps, or Cloud roles
Knowledge of ATS systems and recruitment analytics
