JOB OBJECTIVE-<br><br>Responsible for the development and performance of all Business Development activities in assigned market. Provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of new and upcoming markets.<br><br>Main Responsibilities-<br><br>Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects. Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets. Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed. Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance. Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin. Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports. Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses. Assists Various Departments in preparation of proposals and presentations. Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team. Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails. Visiting potential customers for new business Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations. Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales. Gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future buying trends. Representing your organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with your company's managers. Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions. Liaising with suppliers to check on the progress of existing orders Checking quantities of goods on display and in stock. Recording Business development processes in house and sending reports as and when directed. Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.<br><br>Job Requirements-<br><br>2-5 years of experience in sales management in the Hospitality / Travel / MICE sector Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Management studies or any similar technical University degree (MBA) Experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements. Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.<br><br>Specific Skills-<br><br>The ability and desire to sell Excellent communication skills. Strong commercial awareness.
