The successful candidate will provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of kidney diseases and urinary tract disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. The consultant will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, family-centered care while contributing to clinical excellence, education, and research.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of pediatric kidney disorders, including:Congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract (CAKUT) Nephrotic syndrome and nephritic syndrome Acute kidney injury (AKI) and chronic kidney disease (CKD) Hypertension, electrolyte disturbances, and tubular disorders Glomerular diseases and hereditary renal disorders Manage pediatric dialysis programs, including peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis. Assess and manage children requiring renal replacement therapy. Coordinate renal transplant evaluations and provide comprehensive post-transplant follow-up care. Interpret renal imaging, kidney biopsy findings, and specialized laboratory investigations. Collaborate closely with pediatric urologists, intensivists, endocrinologists, radiologists, transplant teams, and other specialists. Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding disease management, nutrition, medications, and long-term follow-up. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with hospital standards. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, teaching, and research activities. Remain up to date with advances in pediatric nephrology through continuing medical education and professional development.<br>Qualifications<br><br>Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution. Completion of specialty training in Pediatrics with fellowship or board certification in Pediatric Nephrology. Western-trained education and/or clinical experience (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or equivalent) is mandatory. Board certification in Pediatric Nephrology (American Board, Royal College, or equivalent). Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience as a Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist in a tertiary or academic hospital. Eligibility for or possession of a valid DHA, DOH, or MOH Consultant license. Demonstrated expertise in managing complex pediatric renal diseases, dialysis, and renal transplantation. Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills. To manage the implementation of Energy management system for certification<br>Principal Accountabilities Annual EHSS& EnMS(Environment, Health, Safety , Security& Energy Management System) Planning Ensure that all Certified & other standards, specifications and manuals are adequately maintained and updated to ensure all conform to the approved industry and international standards and are in accordance with policies and procedures. Leads the process for hazard identification, evaluation and control process internally and externally through liaising with the Senior Management, Department Managers and also with the local law enforcement agencies. Manages EHS&S risks, aspects & impacts through proper coordination between various departments and implementing highest EHS&S standards, thus bringing down the insurance premium for the Company. Leads investigations of all EHS&S incidents I accidents including near misses. Analysis of accidents and identify trends, vulnerabilities and liabilities that may be avoided by preventive techniques and procedures. Directs all EHS&S Inspections, departmental, Internal & External audits, ensuring best management practices and advise the senior management in safety, health, environment and asset protection& Security & maintain certifications. Publish regular alerts to give a heads up to plant managers regarding new or altered regulations, and regulatory complaints. Classify and protect information assets in accordance with the Data Classification Standard.<br>Experience University degree in a relevant discipline. Additionally the following qualifications are preferred: British Safety Council Diploma or NEBOSH, Advanced Firefighting License, First Aid Training Certification, and Industrial Security Courses. Lead Auditor ISO 14001l0-12 years of working experience in safety/health/environment department of gas, oil, or petrochemical plant. Strong technical engineering background within oil and gas plants, with experience in refinery and petrochemical operations.
