Contract : 12 Months Responsibilities:Health & Safety Management Conduct daily site safety inspections for excavation, grading, backfilling, compaction, and heavy equipment operations. Ensure compliance with approved method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems. Monitor safe operation of earthmoving equipment including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, graders, rollers, dump trucks, and loaders. Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions. Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE awareness sessions. Ensure proper use of PPE by all site personnel. Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions. Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, and safety statistics. Coordinate with supervisors and subcontractors to close safety observations. Participate in HSE audits and inspections by clients or authorities. Coordination & Communication Liaise with site engineers, supervisors, operators, and subcontractors on HSE matters. Support implementation of company HSE policies and procedures. Promote a positive safety culture across the project. <br><br>Required Skills:Diploma or bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field. Responsibilities<br>Our newest opportunity is for a talented Architectural Inspector to join our team based in Dubai, UAE. This position is responsible for ensuring the project aheres to the architectural plans, building codes and regulations and safety standards by conducting on-site inspections.<br>We envisage success in this role to include;Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner. Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice. Report any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to stakeholders for appropriate action. Monitor quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual / QCS specifications and safety and health risk assessments. Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required. Prepare surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site and non conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events. Check and ensure effective co-ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines. Resolve Broker’s complaints; determine the cause of the problem; select and explain the best solution to solve the problem; follow to ensure resolution. Assist in sale contract Registration/Termination at DLD if required. Timely Invoicing, payment dispersal and collections.
