<p>Key Responsibilities
Operational
• Provide technical guidance/solutions for the challenges during the execution of the project.
• Attend the project site daily to oversee ongoing construction activities. Monitor and control quality of work, support the execution team and the sub - contractors in achieving the Project Quality requirements.
• Lead all project meeting related to QA/QC. Conduct Quality site walks with Execution team/sub - contractors/consultants.
• Establish and maintain Project Quality Plan defining/detailing the Procedures/process in compliance with project specification and Amana Quality management system.
• Identifies the project quality goals and objectives and drives the execution of the action plans to achieve them.
• Promote quality practices within the project team by sharing best practices and ensuring adherence to established standards.
• Conduct internal Quality Control Inspections on site activities & Material delivered prior to conducting inspection with the consultant/client.
• Coordinate with Project team, Subcontractors, Testing Lab, and Consultants to conduct work inspections & material inspections as per the approved ITP.
• Conduct site surveillance, identify and report any Non - conformances (NCR) observed and ensure that the required corrective actions are taken, root causes are analyzed and preventive actions are well - placed and communicated.
• Ensure timely closure of NCRs by actively participating in root cause analysis, and support the project team in proposing corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct work inspections with the authority, ensuring compliance with regulations and documenting findings.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive QA/QC records, including reports, test results, and inspection records. Ensure documentation is regularly updated and accessible to all project stakeholders.
• Communicate directly with project stakeholders on routine quality issues, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory agencies, ensuring all parties are informed.
• Maintain and update logs for work inspections, material inspections, method statements, and test reports, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
• Prepares Quality Assurance report by creating key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of the current processes such as number of non-conformance reports (NCR), number of inspection rejection, volume of rework, etc.
• Maintain accurate logs and archives of data related to inspections, test results, audits, and quality control activities. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness for reliable analysis.
• Study all project documents such as drawings, specifications, RFIs, and material submittals to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct on -site inspections of subcontractor materials, equipment, and workmanship. Report any quality concerns to senior engineers and document findings.
• Prepare method statements and ITPs for site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and the quality plan. Ensure all ongoing site activities adhere to the approved method statements.
• Conduct training sessions for site staff based on approved method statements, quality procedures, and project requirements. Ensure that the team understands the execution methodology and stages of inspection and testing.
• Ensure that all project quality documentation is updated in the digital QMS platform. Use digital tools to collect real -time data during inspections and contribute to automated report generation.
• Conduct on -site inspections at subcontractor factories/fabrication yards, verify compliance with project requirements, and report findings to the project team.
• Coordinate with the execution team, consultants, and suppliers for inspection scheduling.
• Coordinate with third - party testing agencies to ensure all required tests are conducted in accordance with ITPs and contract specifications. Review test results for accuracy and submit them to the consultant after verification.
• Identify potential risks and quality issues by analyzing project specifications, drawings, and previous project data. Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to prevent quality issues.
• Actively monitor risk factor s during project execution and recommend proactive corrective actions to minimize their impact.
• Contribute to identifying process improvement opportunities within project workflows. Help develop and execute improvement plans, and actively participate in lean quality management workshops and training.
• Develop detailed testing and commissioning plans, including procedures for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities. Ensure all equipment and systems are installed and functioning according to design specifications. Oversee the completion and documentation of pre - commissioning, functional, and performance tests.
• Oversee the preparation of as - built drawings, ensuring they reflect the final installed conditions accurately. Coordinate with project teams to gather necessary information. Verify the accuracy of as - built drawings by comparing them with field conditions a nd construction records. Ensure all changes are documented.
• Coordinate with Project team, subcontractors and Consultants and ensure the snagging /de -snagging are as per project schedule.
• Coordinate with Project team, subcontractors and Consultants for closeout documentation/deliverables including identification of closeout requirements, preparation, submission and approval from consultant.
• Complete all project deliverables as per the plan, ensuring all documentation is accurate and handed over to the client and maintenance team on time.</p><p>Educational Qualifications:
• Diploma / Bachelor's in Engineering (Architecture, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical)

You will collaborate closely with customers, project teams, and installation professionals while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.</p><br><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><br><p><b>Site Supervision:</b></p><br><ul><li><p>Accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and successful handovers throughout the installation process.</p><br></li><li><p>Ensure the correct use of KONE installation methods and tools, conducting appropriate risk assessments where standard methods are not feasible.</p><br></li><li><p>Lead proactive site preparation, site readiness, customer deliverables, site visits, audits, and the resolution of non-conformities.</p><br></li><li><p>Verify the site execution plan and field cost management during the pre-delivery review, assuming responsibility for installation execution and handovers.</p><br></li><li><p>Maintain accurate S-plan milestones, including material delivery (MS 3c) and milestone confirmations (3–5z).</p><br></li><li><p>Support the Project Manager and Project Administrator in verifying payment status in line with the S-plan concept and contract terms.</p><br></li><li><p>Plan and coordinate installation activities, logistics, site storage, resources, tools, and material deliveries.</p><br></li><li><p>Manage goods receipt, site materials, and installation handovers to KONE installers and subcontractors, ensuring clear scope, timelines, and productivity targets.</p><br></li><li><p>Conduct regular team huddles to promote collaboration, remove obstacles, improve workflow efficiency, and minimize waste.</p><br></li><li><p>Deliver variation sales and change orders while ensuring recoverable costs are identified and collected.</p><br></li><li><p>Verify installation quality, oversee final testing, close outstanding items, and complete a successful handover to the maintenance team.</p><br></li><li><p>Manage installation documentation, progress reporting, cost tracking, time approvals, risk management, schedule changes, and environmental responsibilities, including waste and hazardous material handling.</p><br></li></ul><p><b>Customer Relationship Management</b></p><br><ul><li><p>Serve as the primary customer contact for all site management activities.</p><br></li><li><p>Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication and by ensuring a safe, professional, and high-quality installation experience.</p><br></li></ul><p><b>People Leadership & Subcontractor Management</b></p><br><ul><li><p>Ensure installers, testers, and contractors are trained, certified, competent, and capable of performing their assigned work.</p><br></li><li><p>Promote a safe, motivated, and high-performing work environment.</p><br></li><li><p>Identify training and development needs and communicate them with line managers, HR, subcontracting partners, and Procurement.</p><br></li><li><p>Lead, coach, and develop team performance while maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.</p><br></li></ul><p><b>Continuous Improvement</b></p><br><ul><li><p>Champion KONE's standard ways of working and Lean principles.</p><br></li><li><p>Empower teams to identify waste, improve processes, and strengthen collaboration.</p><br></li><li><p>Coach installation teams on best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.</p><br></li><li><p>Share lessons learned, identify root causes, and promote improvement opportunities using Lean tools such as Go & See, retrospectives, and improvement sessions.</p><br></li><li><p>Celebrate team successes and recognize contributions that drive operational excellence.</p><br></li></ul><p><b>Are You the One?</b></p><br><ul><li><p>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.</p><br></li><li><p>Minimum <b>5 years of experience</b> in the Elevators & Escalators industry, with a proven track record in a similar role.</p><br></li><li><p>Strong leadership skills with experience managing on-site teams.</p><br></li><li><p>Customer-focused with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.</p><br></li><li><p>Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices.</p><br></li><li><p>Fluency in <b>English </b>is essential.</p><br></li></ul><p><i>At KONE, we are focused on creating an innovative and collaborative working culture where we value the contribution of each individual.
