Job Summary<br><br>We are looking for a 2D Electrical Draftsman with UAE building construction experience to prepare, update, and coordinate electrical drawings for MEP projects.<br><br>The candidate should have good knowledge of electrical building services and strong Auto CAD drafting skills.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Prepare and update 2D Electrical Shop Drawings, Layouts, Sections, Details, and As-Built Drawings using Auto CAD. Prepare drawings for LV Power Systems, including MDB, SMDB, DBs, cable trays, conduits, wiring, and containment. Prepare Lighting and Emergency Lighting Layouts, including lighting fixtures, switches, controls, and related wiring. Prepare Small Power and Equipment Power Layouts, including sockets, isolators, and connections to mechanical and other equipment. Prepare and coordinate drawings for Earthing and Lightning Protection Systems. Prepare ELV drawings, including Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Data/Telephone, Intercom, SMATV, and other low-current systems as required. Prepare Single Line Diagrams, Schematic Diagrams, DB Schedules, Cable Schedules, and related electrical details. Prepare MEP Coordination Drawings and coordinate electrical services with HVAC, plumbing, architectural, structural, and other disciplines. Review architectural and MEP drawings to identify conflicts and ensure proper routing, equipment locations, clearances, and installation requirements. Incorporate approved design changes, RFIs, site instructions, and coordination updates into electrical drawings. Coordinate with Electrical Engineers, BIM Engineers, site teams to resolve drawing-related issues. Prepare drawings based on site conditions and actual installation for as-built documentation. Ensure drawings comply with project standards, specifications, authority requirements, and approved design. Maintain proper drawing revisions, references, and document control as per project requirements.<br><br>Requirements<br><br>Diploma / Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Drafting.8 years of relevant experience in electrical drafting, preferably in UAE building construction projects. Strong knowledge of Auto CAD 2D and electrical drafting practices. Good understanding of Electrical Power, Lighting, Small Power, ELV, Fire Alarm, Earthing, and Lightning Protection systems. <p><strong>Job Summary<br></strong>We are looking for a 2D Electrical Draftsman with UAE building construction experience to prepare, update, and coordinate electrical drawings for MEP projects.
