<p>Location: Abu Dhabi -Refinery</p><p>Functional Area: Refinery Maintenance (Mechanical, Electrical, Control &amp; Workshop)</p><p>Career Status: Mid-Management</p><p><br></p><p>Purpose of Job</p><ul><li>Supervises the installation, preventive, predicative, break down, maintenance, repair and testing of a wide range of electric, electronics, pneumatic and microprocessor based laboratory analytical instruments and process analysers, instrument equipment and associated control systems, distribution control systems (DCS), intercom, telecommunication system and telecom network, custody transfer system instruments, programmable logic controllers (PLC) execution and providing guidance to ensure conformity to statuary and company regulations, dealing personally with more complex maintenance, and participating in shutdown and turnaround maintenance and planning activities. </li><li>Prepare turnaround and modular shutdown plan and material requirement for instrumentation and control systems.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Minimum Job Requirements</p><ul><li>Completion of Technical Higher Diploma.</li><li>8 year experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of electronic, pneumatic and microprocessor-based instruments and control systems in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.</li><li>Fair knowledge of English</li></ul>

<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><ul><li>Oversee all Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) operations, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety protocols, and environmental regulations from site mobilization to demobilization.</li><li>Manage and coordinate the HDD drilling crew, including operators, technicians, and laborers, assigning tasks and providing clear direction to maintain productivity and efficiency.</li><li>Ensure all drilling equipment, including the HDD rig, mud recycling systems, and tracking equipment, is operated and maintained safely and effectively according to manufacturer specifications.</li><li>Implement and enforce strict safety procedures, conducting daily toolbox talks, site inspections, and hazard assessments to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.</li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li>Possess a High School Diploma or GED; a Technical Diploma in a related field is advantageous.</li><li>Hold a valid HDD Operator certification or equivalent industry-recognized qualification.</li><li>Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Horizontal Directional Drilling operations.</li><li>Have proven experience in managing and leading field crews in demanding construction environments.</li></ul><p></p></section>
