Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, RICEFW objects, and custom developments, and review them with the technical (ABAP) team. Configure and unit-test SAP FICO settings in line with SAP best practices and internal design and governance standards. Maintain accurate configuration and functional design documentation within the Center of Excellence. Ensure seamless integration of FICO with MM, SD, and other SAP components, as well as with tax engines and third-party / peripheral systems. Coordinate with cross-functional CoE teams to resolve integration issues and validate end-to-end business processes. Support finance master data governance and reconciliation across finance-relevant objects. Prepare and execute test scenarios and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for enhancements and changes. Follow established change and release management processes, ensuring proper approvals and controlled transports to production. Support regression testing for SAP Notes, support packs, and system upgrades.<br>Qualifications Minimum 8+ years of experience in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO), including at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation and subsequent support / enhancement. Proven experience in application support (AMS) and enhancement environments, including incident, problem, and change management. Strong functional expertise across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting, and Controlling (Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Margin Analysis / CO-PA). Hands-on experience with the SAP S/4HANA Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New Asset Accounting, and period-end closing processes. Strong configuration skills across SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling. Knowledge of SAP Tax configuration and integration with tax engines (e.g., Vertex, Avalara, or SAP Tax Service). Experience preparing functional specifications and working with ABAP teams on RICEFW / custom developments. Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps, S/4HANA Finance innovations, and integration with MM and SD.<br>Critical Soft Skills:· Strong communication skills for engaging with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.· Analytical and problem-solving mindset to identify root causes and propose tailored solutions.· Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver in a support-driven, SLA-based environment.
