Job Purpose<br>Lead and manage the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems across assigned facilities.<br>The Senior MEP Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliable, safe, and efficient performance of building services, including HVAC systems, chillers, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, through effective maintenance planning, technical leadership, and asset management.<br>The role ensures compliance with statutory regulations, quality standards, contractual KPIs, and client requirements while driving operational excellence, system reliability, and cost-effective service delivery.<br>Roles, Responsibilities, Duties Engineering & Technical Management Lead the operation, maintenance, and optimization of MEP systems, including HVAC systems, chillers, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical equipment. Review engineering designs, technical drawings, specifications, and method statements to ensure compliance with project and client requirements. Provide technical expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex MEP and building services issues. Recommend engineering improvements to enhance system reliability, energy efficiency, and asset lifecycle.<br>Maintenance Management Plan, supervise, and monitor preventive, corrective, predictive, and emergency maintenance activities. Ensure all maintenance works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs. Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve operational reliability. Support lifecycle replacement planning and major maintenance projects.<br>Project & Site Coordination Manage MEP works for refurbishment, fit-out, and capital improvement projects. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Conduct site inspections, technical assessments, testing, commissioning, and project handovers. Review contractor performance and verify completed works prior to acceptance.<br>Quality, Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with local regulations, statutory requirements, HSE policies, and quality management systems. Conduct technical audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement. Ensure accurate maintenance records, asset documentation, and statutory compliance certificates are maintained. Investigate technical failures and implement preventive and corrective actions.<br>Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineers, supervisors, and technicians. Allocate resources and monitor team performance to ensure efficient service delivery. Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, vendors, and service providers. Support training and continuous professional development of the engineering team. Reporting & Continuous Improvement Prepare engineering reports, maintenance performance reports, technical evaluations, and management updates. Monitor maintenance KPIs, asset performance, and operational costs, recommending improvement initiatives where required. Support budget planning, technical procurement, and contract administration activities. The role is accountable for planning and coordinating all operational gating required for implementation within a live rail environment, including KM change control. Delivery is typically executed within restricted engineering access windows, and requires disciplined readiness checks, testing, communications, contingency planning, and rollback capability.</span></p><br>
