Proven track record in customer acquisition, contract negotiations, and revenue growth. Experience engaging with industrial customers, investors, government entities, and strategic stakeholders. Knowledge of UAE/Middle East energy/gas sector would be preferred. Willingness to travel within the UAE and internationally, as required, for customer visits, business development activities, industry events and stakeholder meetings. Department: Projects & Engineering Services Division (PESD) Reports To: Sales Manager / General Manager – PESDLocation: Abu Dhabi, UAEEmployment Type: Full-Time Job Purpose The EPC Project Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying, developing, and converting project-based business opportunities within the UAE and GCC, with a primary focus on EPC contractors, engineering consultants, OEMs, industrial clients, and energy and infrastructure projects. The role will drive the complete project sales cycle—from early opportunity identification and specification influence through technical-commercial proposal development, negotiation, project award, and handover to the execution team.<br>The position will support PESD's growth by leveraging Al Masaood's engineering capabilities, international principals, and industrial solutions to develop sustainable project opportunities across Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Water & Wastewater, Power, Energy, Infrastructure, and Industrial sectors. Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Project Identification Identify upcoming EPC, infrastructure, industrial, and energy projects across the UAE and GCC. Develop relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, OEMs, end users, and project stakeholders. Engage with customers at the early project/design stage to identify opportunities and influence specifications. Develop and maintain a healthy project pipeline aligned with PESD's sales targets. Monitor market developments, upcoming projects, tenders, and competitor activities.<br>2. EPC & Key Account Management Establish and maintain strong relationships with key EPC contractors and strategic accounts. Develop account strategies for targeted EPCs and major customers. Map key decision-makers across engineering, procurement, projects, commercial, and management functions. Position Al Masaood and PESD as a strategic engineering and solutions partner.<br>3. Technical & Commercial Sales Review RFQs, ITBs, specifications, BOQs, MTOs, datasheets, and other project documentation. Coordinate with principals, OEMs, and internal engineering teams to develop compliant technical solutions. Prepare and coordinate techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions. Identify opportunities for value engineering and alternative technical solutions. Conduct technical presentations, product presentations, and clarification meetings with customers.<br>4. Sales Cycle & Project Conversion Manage opportunities from initial lead generation through bidding, negotiation, award, and handover. Lead commercial negotiations while protecting agreed pricing, margins, and company interests. Follow up on submitted proposals and actively drive conversion of opportunities into orders. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, project trackers, and CRM records. Conduct win/loss analysis and develop corrective strategies.<br>5. Internal & Principal Coordination Coordinate closely with Engineering, Projects, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams. Work with PESD principals and technology partners to develop project-specific solutions. Ensure proper technical and commercial handover after project award. Support project kick-off meetings and maintain customer engagement during execution where required.<br>6. Market & Strategic Development Identify new sectors, customers, EPCs, and project opportunities for PESD. Develop market intelligence on competitors, pricing, project trends, and customer requirements. Support strategic initiatives to expand PESD's project portfolio and principal network. Represent Al Masaood/PESD at industry exhibitions, conferences, client meetings, and technical events.<br>Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.3–7 years of experience in technical sales, project sales, business development, or EPC-related sales. Experience dealing with EPC contractors, consultants, OEMs, industrial clients, or Oil & Gas companies in the UAE. Strong understanding of the EPC project lifecycle and tendering process. Experience in preparing and negotiating techno-commercial proposals. Existing relationships with EPC contractors and major industrial customers in the UAE would be highly advantageous. UAE market experience, particularly within Abu Dhabi and the Oil & Gas/Industrial sector, is preferred. UAE driving license is an advantage.
