<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <span>Apt Resources is seeking an experienced Pool Maintenance Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and safety standards of all swimming pool facilities for a prestigious 5-Star Luxury Hotel on the Red Sea, Saudi Arabia.<br> The successful candidate will ensure that all pools, water systems, equipment, and surrounding areas are maintained to the highest standards while complying with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.<br> Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise daily pool maintenance operations, including water quality, filtration systems, pumps, and mechanical equipment.<br> Ensure all swimming pools are maintained according to luxury hotel standards and local health and safety regulations.<br> Monitor and maintain proper chemical levels, water balance, chlorine levels, pH levels, and cleanliness.<br> Conduct regular inspections of pool areas, equipment, and facilities to identify maintenance issues and coordinate repairs.<br> Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for pool machinery and systems.<br> Manage pool cleaning procedures, including skimming, vacuuming, backwashing, and water treatment processes.<br> Ensure compliance with HACCP, safety procedures, and environmental standards.<br> Coordinate with Engineering, Housekeeping, and Recreation teams to ensure smooth pool operations.<br> Train, supervise, and guide pool maintenance staff and ensure proper work practices.<br> Maintain accurate records of water testing, maintenance activities, chemical usage, and inspections.<br> Manage inventory of pool chemicals, tools, and maintenance supplies.<br> Respond promptly to guest concerns or operational issues related to pool facilities.<br> Support emergency procedures and ensure guest safety at all times.<br> As per the market standards Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pool maintenance , preferably within a 5-star hotel, luxury resort, or high-end leisure facility .<br> Previous experience as a Pool Maintenance Manager, Pool Supervisor, Recreation Maintenance Supervisor, or similar role .<br> Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, Hospitality Management, or a related technical field is preferred.<br> Relevant certification in pool operation, water treatment, chemical handling, or facility maintenance is an advantage.<br> Strong knowledge of: Swimming pool water treatment systems Filtration and circulation systems Chemical dosing and water balancing Pool equipment troubleshooting Preventive and corrective maintenance Ability to monitor and maintain proper water chemistry parameters, including pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and water clarity.<br> Knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards related to pool operations.<br> Experience managing, training, and supervising pool maintenance teams.<br> Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.<br> Ability to coordinate effectively with Engineering, Housekeeping, Recreation, and other hotel departments.<br> Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining luxury hotel standards.<br> Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required.<br> Good computer skills for maintenance reports, records, and inventory tracking.<br></span> </div>

Job Purpose:The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for managing an inhouse team of technicians and external vendors to make sure the Americana Restaurants, Commissaries and Head/Regional offices are well maintained to the global standards in terms of MEP, General Maintenance, Branding, Compliance, Health & Safety etc. The Engineer will be the direct point of contact for Regional Operation team and will make sure excellent customer services and SLA are achieved. The Engineer will be responsible for taking the NSO from the Construction team as per the HO standards and maintained these restaurants to the same standards.<br>Key Responsibilities:1) Reactive Complaint / PPMMust be able to manage response time for technician and external vendors as per Americana Maintenance SLA/KPIPPM WO to be completed and monitored as per the SLA and compliance2) Customer and Stakeholder Management As a Maintenance supervisor must have excellent customer relationship and stakeholder management Direct POC for Operation team as per the AOR and must be available and respond during Restaurants Operation time Stakeholders like Supply chain, Finance, Landlord Management3) Capex and OPEX Management Execute the yearly Capex plan for the year end to end(Technical Reports, RFP, and Execution and Reporting) for his AORManage the monthly and yearly OPEX Budget and not overspend Minimize the jobs from External Vendors by rectifying them through his in-house team and ensure the spares are not replaced unless necessary Advises supervisor regarding major repairs / changes required.4) Energy and Sustainability Management Help Americana Maintenance team with achieving the targets initiatives for the year with IoT projects, Digital thermostats, water and gas consumption, solar panel installation etc.5) Team Management Must be able to manage a team of tech. and external vendors. Arranging training for his team through both inhouse and outside trainers Shift planning and priority planning etc.6) Personal Growth Improve skills & efficiency by attending courses. Making sure to use latest digital tech. in his daily work and work smart to manage the volume of WO both PPM and RM.<br>Education: BSc in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering is a must.<br>Experience: 5-7 years in an overall Restaurants Maintenance background.<br>Job-Specific Skills: Strong hands-on and supervisory experience on Kitchen Equipment and MEP, plus have a very good knowledge of UAE market in terms of authority regulations, malls/landlord requirements.<br>Language Skills: Must be able to Communicate in English, Arabic speaking would be big plus, having excellent written and oral capabilities.<br>IT Skills: Good knowledge of using Field Management System, MS office skills, CAFM Software’s, Iot based apps

To assist in the smooth running of plant equipment in shifts by attending the breakdowns, ensuring routine and preventive maintenance carried out at regular intervals, CPSS, Emergency Asset Maintenance. Collaboration with Production teams while planning maintenance activities Maintaining the EH&S standards by following effective Energy controls, JHA, Risk assessments, meeting with all the stakeholders. Undertake effective planning and prioritization of works in the shifts in execution, Handover and Takeover. Continuously assess the Talent gaps in the team, performance reviews and motivating the employees. Monitor the quality of craft work and provide direction, Coaching, mentoring to crew members to maximize efficiency. Review the Work instructions & PMs on regular intervals to improve the efficiency’s and cover the gaps. <br>Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering. Significant experience in medium and large manufacturing background (continuous process industries). Willing and able to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operating plant. Knowledge of reliability and implementing precision maintenance techniques to improve equipment reliability by doing PMs, CPSS, Asset care strategy. Working knowledge and experience with MS Word and Excel, and other PC-based production and maintenance reporting applications. Experience routinely utilizing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) or other similar problem-solving tools. Working knowledge of EAM, SAP where Material management applications are used to search and allocate material consumptions and inventory management systems Working knowledge of Work permits such as hot work permits, confined space, working at height where issuing and closing the Permits Proven ability to manage contractors: onboarding, scope definition, performance assessment, and ensuring compliance with the required standards. Strong collaborator who partners with Process, Area engineers and Safety Engineers to drive and execute Reliability maintenance works such as Breakdowns, PMs, Projects, Contractor works. Analyze Data of Equipment failures, Repeated issues, MTBF, make action points and able to complete with target dates. Experience of practical hands-on troubleshooting of conveyors, instruments, batching weighment scales, mixing equipment, Furnace Melters, Glass handling equipment, measuring equipment, leading a team of technicians, continuous operating Process/plants, Stackers, Electric forklifts, Utility Pumps, cooling towers operations, Coating equipment, High vacuum applications equipment.<br>What Will Put You Ahead Certifications or hands-on expertise in PLC systems. Working knowledge of HMI’s, SCADA (GE i Fix), Profibus & other Industrial communication systems Working knowledge on VFD’s, Induction motors, Servo motors, Control circuits, process instruments & calibrations. Familiarity with 33KV switch gears, LV switch gears.
