Location: UAEEmployment: Full-time Salary: AED 12,000/month + Commission Benefits: Company car + fuel provided
We are seeking an experienced Pile Engineer to take responsibility for complete turnkey piling and foundation projects, while also playing an active role in business development for both piling works and heavy machinery rentals.
This position requires someone who can take a project from the initial client inquiry and technical assessment through planning, execution, coordination, and final delivery. The role therefore combines engineering expertise, project management, commercial responsibility, and client acquisition.
The Role The Pile Engineer will evaluate potential piling projects by reviewing drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, soil investigation data, and foundation requirements. The engineer will conduct or coordinate the required technical analyses, calculations, pile design assessments, method statements, and project planning. Based on site and ground conditions, the candidate should be able to determine suitable piling methods, machinery, equipment, and execution strategies. Responsibilities will also include developing quantities, cost estimates, schedules, quotations, technical proposals, and overall project requirements. Once a project is awarded, the engineer will oversee the complete delivery process, including mobilization, piling operations, manpower, equipment, subcontractors, testing, and site coordination. They will monitor progress, productivity, quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications while coordinating with consultants, contractors, developers, project managers, site teams, and other stakeholders.
Business Development A major part of this position is generating new business. The successful candidate must actively identify and pursue new piling and foundation projects within the UAE, rather than focusing only on engineering and execution. The role includes building and maintaining relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, infrastructure companies, and other potential clients. The engineer will be expected to generate leads, develop opportunities, prepare and follow up quotations, negotiate with clients, and help convert opportunities into awarded projects. The candidate will also support the company's heavy machinery rental business by identifying projects and companies requiring piling and construction equipment and bringing in new rental clients. An active pipeline of prospective clients, piling projects, and machinery rental opportunities should be maintained.
Candidate Profile Candidates should hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline and have strong professional experience specifically within piling, deep foundations, and foundation engineering. The position requires demonstrated experience managing piling works on a turnkey basis, including their technical, operational, and commercial aspects. Candidates should have a strong understanding of pile foundation systems, soil and geotechnical conditions, piling equipment, testing procedures, execution methods, and the relevant engineering calculations and analyses. Experience with piling rigs and associated heavy machinery is highly preferred. Good knowledge of the UAE construction and infrastructure market is also important, while an existing network among contractors, consultants, developers, or project owners in the UAE would be a strong advantage. This role particularly suits an engineer with a business-development mindset who is comfortable approaching clients, developing relationships, sourcing opportunities, negotiating, and closing business in addition to managing engineering work. Strong project-management, communication, negotiation, and client-management skills are required. A UAE driving licence is preferred.
Compensation The position offers a fixed salary of AED 12,000 per month + commission, together with a company car and fuel. Commission provides additional earning potential through successfully generated piling projects, new clients, and heavy machinery rental business.
Who We Are Looking For The ideal candidate combines strong technical piling knowledge with commercial capability and an established industry network. They should be able to assess a potential project, develop the appropriate turnkey piling solution, oversee its execution, and simultaneously create new project and equipment-rental opportunities for the company.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Company Description Tawasol Solution & Services LLC, incorporated in 2012, is a digital-first EPC contractor specializing in the construction of data centers, technical facilities, and critical infrastructure. Operations & Cross-Functional Leadership• Guide and implement a policy of growth, starting with a sales representative and an operations coordinator, then mentor and grow the commercial and operations team as the business expands.• Partner closely with the CEO on strategy, the monthly board pack and the stage-gate milestones.
WHO YOU ARE• 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, trading or commercial operations. Consumer hardware, sanitaryware, building materials or durables experience is a plus, not a prerequisite.• An entrepreneurial builder and founding team member, comfortable with founding-team breadth, pace and ambiguity, and motivated by ownership rather than a job title.• Hands-on experience working with Chinese manufacturers, OEMs or import and export trading flows.• A strong grasp of how goods actually move: freight, customs, 3PLs, inventory planning and product certification requirements, or the ability to master them fast.• Commercially sharp, with the confidence to negotiate with distributors, forwarders and partners several levels more senior than you.• Based out of Dubai, with regular travel across China, Europe and the GCC as the rollout requires.• Fluent English essential; Spanish and Arabic are strong advantages.
NICE TO HAVE
• Time at a leading bathroom or sanitaryware brand (e.g. Vitr A, TOTO, Duravit, Roca, Villeroy & Boch, Laufen) or a premium consumer hardware business.• Experience with smart sanitaryware (bathroom accessories, washlets, bidet seats, electronic toilets) or other electronics-meets-ceramics product categories.• Existing relationships with premium bathroom showrooms, distributors, architects or developer groups in Europe and the Middle East.
WHAT WE OFFER
• A founding-team seat in a category defining European brand at the moment it goes to market.• A fixed monthly salary, performance bonus, and a long-term incentive above agreed thresholds.
