Position Overview The Props Technician is responsible for the preparation, maintenance, repair, positioning, operation, and safe handling of all theatrical props and scenic elements used within a premium resident theatrical production in Dubai. This is a hands-on backstage position requiring exceptional attention to detail, technical ability, and consistency. The Props Technician ensures that all show props are correctly prepared, positioned, operated, reset, and maintained for every rehearsal and performance. The successful candidate should have professional experience in theatre, live entertainment, resident productions, concerts, or large-scale events, with strong hands-on skills in props, carpentry, fabrication, mechanical repairs, and general stage technical operations. Key Responsibilities Show & Props Operations Prepare, inspect, preset, operate, strike, and reset theatrical props for every rehearsal and performance. Ensure all props are positioned accurately according to approved show plots, cue sequences, and production requirements. Conduct pre-show and post-show inspections of all show-critical props and scenic elements. Execute backstage prop changes and cues safely and precisely during live performances.
