<p>The purpose of the Merchandise Planner role is to optimize sales, margin, and inventory by building accurate forecasts, managing OTB, and translating commercial strategy into balanced stock and supply plans across channels. It ensures the right product is in the right place at the right time through close collaboration with cross-functional teams, disciplined execution, and continuous performance analysis to drive sell-through and minimize risk.</p>

<li>Create & maintain demand forecast, OTB (Open to Buy) and inventory plans (MSSI) by collaborating with Buying, Finance, Retail, and Ecommerce teams.</li>

<li>Conduct post-mortem analyses of previous seasons to identify insights and best practices to inform future planning cycles.</li>

<h4>Professional experience:</h4>

<li>7+ years of experience in merchandise and supply planning, preferably in retail, fashion, or related industries.</li>

This role is available for immediate joining and is for an initial 6 month fixed term contract as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting.
Key Responsibilities:
• The Senior Planner is responsible for developing, updating, and monitoring baseline project schedules, analyzing critical paths, and tracking progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Establish, update, and manage the integrated baseline Master Project Schedule (using Primavera P6) in alignment with contractual requirements.
• Track daily, weekly, and monthly site progress against the approved baseline, identifying variances and generating Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics.

As the Group Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will lead the strategic financial planning, budgeting, and performance management across all GCC and MENA operations. You will act as a core strategic partner to executive leadership, delivering commercial insights, long-term financial modeling, and decision-support analytics to drive sustainable growth for a market-leading energy enterprise.<br>Job Responsibilities will include:<br>Spearhead the group-wide annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term strategic planning processes across all business units in the GCC and MENA regions. Deliver rigorous financial modeling, scenario analysis, and strategic appraisal for major capital allocation, M&A opportunities, and energy infrastructure projects. Direct the monthly and quarterly business performance reviews, analyzing variance against KPIs, operational metrics, and market benchmarks to present key insights to the C-suite. Partner closely with regional operational leaders to optimize cost structures, drive margin improvement, and enhance operational efficiencies across diverse assets. Establish and continuously refine standardized enterprise FP&A frameworks, reporting templates, and financial performance metrics across all operating subsidiaries. Lead working capital management and cash flow forecasting strategies to optimize capital structure and liquidity across regional business entities. Drive digital transformation initiatives within the finance function by leveraging advanced FP&A systems, business intelligence platforms, and data automation tools. Mentor and direct a high-performing group FP&A team, fostering a culture of financial excellence, analytical rigour, and continuous professional development.<br>Key Skills and Qualifications Required:<br>Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; professional designation such as CFA, CMA, or ACA/CPA is strongly preferred. Minimum of 15 years of progressive finance experience with at least 5+ years in a senior group FP&A leadership role within the Energy or Oil & Gas sector across the GCC/MENA region. Proven expertise in complex financial modeling, capital expenditure planning, and enterprise-level strategic decision support for large-scale capital-intensive businesses. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Senior Planning Engineer on new build commercial, hospitality and residential projects in the UAE and ideally have worked for a recognised design or engineering consultancy company previously,
This role is available for immediate joining and is for an initial 6 month fixed term contract as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting.
Key Responsibilities:
• The Senior Planner is responsible for developing, updating, and monitoring baseline project schedules, analyzing critical paths, and tracking progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Establish, update, and manage the integrated baseline Master Project Schedule (using Primavera P6) in alignment with contractual requirements.
• Track daily, weekly, and monthly site progress against the approved baseline, identifying variances and generating Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics.
• Continuously analyze the critical path and near-critical paths to forecast potential delays and recommend mitigation or catch-up plans to project management.
• Evaluate the contractor’s Extension of Time (EOT) submissions by performing forensic delay analyses (e.g., Time Impact Analysis, As Planned vs. As-Built).
• Monitor resource and equipment histograms to ensure optimal deployment and prepare executive project dashboards and monthly progress reports for the Client.
• Work closely with design, construction, and procurement teams to ensure a synchronized, coherent approach to scheduling across all phases of the project.
• Ensure critical milestones are clearly defined and monitored regularly, including engineering designs, procurement, construction activities, inspections, and handovers.
• Act as the primary planning liaison for the site team, assisting the RE/PD in the coordination and supervision of day-to-day construction activities.
• Ensure that all site operations are aligned with the schedule, and resources such as materials, equipment, and labor are available as per the project needs.
• Monitor the work of subcontractors and contractors to ensure compliance with the project schedule, and contractual obligations.
• Risk Management & Problem Solving: Proactively identify risks related to project delays, resources, and unforeseen issues that may impact project schedules.
• Develop and implement corrective actions in conjunction with the Contractor to address and resolve any delays or challenges encountered during the construction process.
• Monitor the Contractor’s KPIs on a weekly basis and ensure resource deployments are in line with the project requirements.
• Maintain detailed documentation related to scheduling, progress reports, contractor submissions, change orders, and any other project-related documents.
• Change Management: Evaluate any proposed changes to the project scope and assess their impact on the schedule, cost, and resource requirements.
• Ensure Contractor’s incorporation of approved changes into the schedule and ensure that all impacted parties are informed and aligned.</p><p>Senior Planning Engineer Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• In-depth proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and related tools.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in construction planning and site supervision, with at least 3 years of experience working within the UAE or GCC region.
• A strong track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects across various typologies, including hospitality, luxury residential, mixed-use developments, and commercial sectors.
• Experience in site-based roles, with a proven ability to manage all aspects of project scheduling, planning, and supervision on complex sites.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project lifecycle management, and relevant industry standards (such as ISO, BS, and local building codes).
• Familiarity with UAE/GCC construction codes, health and safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and quality standards.
• Understanding of local building permits, regulations, and site requirements.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver results in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Ability to foster a collaborative team environment, building strong relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to foresee and mitigate potential risks or delays.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and complex schedules simultaneously.
