Connexa Recruitment are working in partnership with an award-winning International Architectural Design practice who are looking for an Senior Resident Engineer / Senior Project Manager on a prestigious hospitality project on site in greater Riyadh.<br>Role<br>Ensure a smooth transition from pre-contract to post-contract including full liaison will all parties and ongoing assistance to pre-contract divisions. Complete management and delivery of the projects during the post contract period in accordance with the contractual requirements and documentation including the management of site staff and associated teams. Additionally, involvement in the overall management and operation of Supervision Department and its development.<br>Responsibilities<br>Technical and Contract Administration Tasks• Act as the Engineer under the Contract appointed by the Employer if so required under the Consultancy Agreement;• Draft, review and issue contractual correspondences, ensuring all information is accurate and in accordance with the contractual documentation;• Chair and Minute Project Weekly/Fortnightly Technical Meetings;• Chair and Minute Project Weekly/Fortnightly Progress Meetings attended by all parties including the Clients Representative if so required under the Consultancy Agreement;• Preparation and issue of all Engineers Instructions if so required under the Consultancy Agreement;• Preparation and issue of Payment and Completion Certificates in accordance with the Contract requirements and project cost consultants;• Work with Senior Project Engineers and Project Engineers to review all material and document submittals, including the Contract Programme, labor forecasts, cash flow charts, method statements, drawing submissions etc;• Final sign off of all submittals as the signatory for the Engineer;• Manage the relationship between the Site and Head Office Design teams, ensuring timely and technically accurate issue of required drawings, additional information, technical response to project RFI's etc.• Tracking and ensuring local Authority approvals required by the Contractor/Consultants are signed off and cleared in line with the Construction Programme;• Preparation and issue of all project non-conformance reports (NCR's) and close-out;• Work with Senior Project Engineers to technically review any Contractor variation claims and advise the validity to the cost consultant and Client;• Review any Contractor extension of time claims and advise technical validity.<br>Client Management<br>• Full Client liaison to ensure all issues are dealt with promptly and effectively;• Preparation and issue of Monthly Progress Reports, as required;• Programming and preparation of Architectural mock-ups for approval by both the Consultants and Clients to ensure timely approval and procurement of all materials;<br>Practice Related Responsibilities<br>• Overview on all Contractual and Key Project issues across the practice including, major claims, project delays, client changes etc. and assistance to the individual Project Team members to satisfactorily address the key issues which the practice are facing;• Assist in the development of Procedures and Process in coordination with the Site Teams to improve efficiency and performance relating to the overall Contract Administration and Supervision project activities;• Management of Site Teams, including resource allocation and tracking to ensure resources are utilised efficiently and staff are not overloaded;• Management of Red Pen Reviews and Workshops on upcoming projects, (reviews typically take place at either Schematic or Detailed Design Stage to ensure Constructability comments are fed back into the designs

<br> Job Purpose <br><p>Plan, coordinate and monitor the implementation of the Turnaround activities from initiation phase to close-out phase to achieve the Turnaround’ milestones, KPIs and execution criteria.Contribute to ensure full and proper implementation of the Turnaround from the preparation and contracting of the Turnaround until close-out phase of the Turnaround project, through which the job holder is liaising with internal and external stake holders to achieve the Turnaround objectives.</p><br><br><br>Job Specific Accountabilities <br><p><strong>Turnaround Planning</strong><br>• Review the work scope for identified equipment to concur in preparation for the requirements of turnaround by Original Equipment Manufacturer or Vendor.<br>• In cooperation with the technical stakeholder of the equipment, review the alternatives, for the equipment which are considered for turnaround, to eliminate the risks.<br>• Participate in the preparation of Turnaround budget for the area of responsibility to ensure planned and effective spending.<br>• Prepare the Technical Objectives for each equipment ensure effective implementation and monitoring to achieve the corporate goals set for the Turnaround.<br>• Develop the process path of the Turnaround to ensure proper planning of the turnaround activities.<br>• In preparation for the Contract Execution Criteria (i.e. Quality, HSE), contact the focal points in each function to prepare their part criteria within the plan to communicate it to the vendor prior to Turnaround.<br><strong>Turnaround Contracting</strong><br>• Prepare the technical part of the Turnaround-Contracting to ensure meeting the technical requirements for the related plant.<br>• Prepare the scope of service requirements for Turnaround Contract in preparation for contracting stage, and to ensure full details are provided in advance.<br>• In cooperation with Procurement and related technical team, liaise for selection, assessment and screening of the competent contractor that meet the technical bidding.<br><strong>Turnaround Execution’ Monitoring</strong><br>• Supervise and report the activity execution by the contractors to ensure meeting the technical specifications for each, in line with the turnaround plan.<br>• Review and solicit with the Engineering-Contracting Team for the Turnaround Project close-out process to report the contracts closing and project reconciliation<br><strong>Communication & Coordination</strong><br>• Share turnaround experiences from other OPCOs and industry with the concerned party, to upgrade the quality or efficiency of the turnaround activity in accordance with the best practices and technologies in the market.<br>• Monitor the actions implementation arising out of audit recommendations for Maintenance Execution - Turnaround department conducted by internal and external networks at various phase. <br>• Initiates Post Turnaround Lessons learnt analysis and implementation of approved actions for future Turnaround’s.<br> </p><br><br><br>Minimum Qualification <br><p>Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any Technical Qualifications.</p><br><br><br>Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills <br><p>5 or more years of experience, including at least 2 -3 years working experience in technical projects or maintenance</p><br><br><br>Professional Certifications <br><p>As applicable</p><br><br><br><br><br> </div>
The ideal candidate will lead the planning, execution, authority approvals, utility coordination, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover of large-scale public electrical infrastructure projects across Abu Dhabi while ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable regulations.<br>Responsibilities Manage the complete project lifecycle from planning through final handover. Lead all authority approvals, permits, utility connections and NOCs. Coordinate with TAQA Distribution, Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM), ADQCC, Civil Defense and other relevant authorities. Manage consultants, contractors, suppliers and utility providers. Review designs, shop drawings, technical submissions and project schedules. Supervise civil and electrical infrastructure works, testing, commissioning and energization. Ensure compliance with TAQA, ADM, ADQCC, IEC standards and UAE regulations. Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards and executivepresentations to Top Management covering project progress, approvals, schedule, budget, risks, delays and recovery plans. Conduct regular coordination meetings and ensure timely closure of action items.<br>Qualifications<br>Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Abu Dhabi managing public electrical infrastructure or utility projects. Proven experience delivering similar infrastructure projects from concept through commissioning. Must be a TAQA Distribution Approved Competent Electrical Engineer. Must be an Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) Approved Electrical Engineer. Must hold a valid ADQCC Electrical Engineer approval/certification (where applicable). Expert knowledge of TAQA Distribution, ADM, ADQCC and other authority approval processes, submissions, permits, NOCs, inspections and energization procedures. Extensive experience obtaining Premise IDs, LDN approvals, TPD approvals, LV connection approvals and utility NOCs. Strong knowledge of LV infrastructure, substations, transformers, electrical distribution networks and IEC standards. Experience managing consultants, contractors and government stakeholders. PMP certification is preferred.
