Assist the Procurement manager in sourcing, procuring and expediting the receipt of materials. Support with the logistics, customs clearances and material transportation activities.<br><br>Responsibilities<br><br>Procurement<br><br>Independently handling sourcing of standards items and components from international and local suppliers as agreed with the Procurement Manager. Ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain proper follow up with the vendor inclusive of ensuring payment schedule. Analyse quotes and verify with engineering department regarding technical suitability. Negotiate prices and delivery terms where applicable. Carry out evaluation of suppliers where needed. Ensure compliance to Procurement policies and process. Be updated about information regarding key suppliers, stockists.
