Assist with decorating and finishing pastries and desserts using appropriate techniques. Ensure all pastry products meet established presentation and portion standards before service or delivery. Monitor baking temperatures, cooking times, proofing conditions, cooling processes, and product consistency. Operate ovens, mixers, proofers, refrigerators, freezers, blast chillers, and other pastry equipment safely. Check the condition and performance of pastry equipment and report faults or maintenance requirements. Assist with preparing daily and weekly pastry production schedules. Coordinate production priorities according to service requirements, events, reservations, and customer orders. Maintain sufficient quantities of prepared pastry components and finished products.
