Work closely with Manager Enterprise Architecture and other peer architects in the development of technology advancements and adaptation of new technologies and patterns.</li><li>Continuously monitor industry trends, identify and evaluate relevant technologies and tools, and showcase business value by executing Proof of Concepts by engaging relevant IT teams.</li><li>Establish policy, guidelines, and strategy for selecting system components and their designs. Assess solution designs to ensure they effectively use architectural patterns and adhere to the guidelines. Promote the reuse of solutions, platforms, and services. Contribute to the enterprise architecture repository.</li><li>Guide, mentor, and motivate the development team members in adopting good engineering practices, tools, and techniques throughout the development process. In addition, advise and support team members in overcoming technical challenges by providing expert consultancy and coaching.</li><li>Conduct architecture reviews of vendor products as part of the selection process and other critical production applications with Software Engineering development teams. Provide architecture recommendations for the short and long-term improvement of applications.</li><li>Develop logical infrastructure solutions in alignment with the technology standards. Work closely with infrastructure teams to ensure that the physical infrastructure designed meets project requirements. Work together, oversee, and govern the development to ensure the development team's design and implementation align with the proposed architecture definition. Work closely with the quality engineering team to ensure that the final solution meets the agreed non-functional requirements.</li><li>Collaborate closely with Manager Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment of information, application, and technology architecture to the overall architecture principles, framework, and guidelines.</li><li>Own, manage, and maintain the architecture roadmap and runways of small to medium-sized initiatives, products, environments, and/or platforms. About the Role
<p>We are seeking an experienced and results-driven <strong>Logistics Manager – Road Tanker Operations</strong> to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of road tanker logistics operations. The role will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, compliant, and cost-effective transportation of liquid bulk, chemical, and petrochemical products while maintaining high standards of fleet utilization, delivery performance, and customer service.</p><br>
<p>The role requires strong experience in tanker fleet operations, hazardous material transportation, route planning, driver management, regulatory compliance, and logistics cost control. Experience in chemical or petrochemical logistics is highly preferred, particularly within a UAE-based operation. The business operates in the chemical and petrochemical storage and logistics sector, including an integrated storage terminal in Hamriyah Free Zone. </p><br>
Key Responsibilities
Road Tanker Operations

Manage day-to-day road tanker transportation and delivery operations.

Plan and allocate tankers based on customer requirements, cargo availability, and delivery schedules.

Ensure efficient utilization of the tanker fleet and minimize vehicle idle time.

Monitor loading, transportation, unloading, and delivery activities from origin to destination.

Logistics Planning & Route Management
<ul>

Develop efficient transportation schedules and optimize delivery routes.

Coordinate with terminals, warehouses, customers, drivers, and operations teams.

Monitor tanker movements and proactively resolve delays, route issues, and operational disruptions.
</li>

Plan fleet requirements based on shipment volumes, customer demand, and operational capacity.

Utilize GPS and fleet tracking systems to monitor vehicle movement and performance.
</li>
</ul>
Tanker Fleet Management
<ul>

Monitor fleet availability, utilization, maintenance, and operational readiness.

Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of tankers and associated equipment.
</li>
<li>
Ensure vehicles have valid registrations, insurance, permits, certifications, and inspection approvals.

Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, vehicle downtime, and maintenance costs.

<li>
Coordinate with workshops and maintenance providers to minimize fleet downtime.

</ul>
HSE & Dangerous Goods Compliance

Ensure strict compliance with UAE regulations governing road transportation of chemicals, petroleum products, and hazardous materials.

Implement and monitor HSE procedures for loading, transportation, unloading, and emergency situations.

Driver & Team Management
<ul>

Manage drivers, transport coordinators, dispatchers, and logistics support personnel.

Monitor driver performance, attendance, safety compliance, and productivity.

Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and operational training where required.

Customer & Stakeholder Coordination

Cost Control & Performance Management

Documentation & Systems

Ensure accurate maintenance of delivery notes, trip sheets, vehicle records, permits, inspection certificates, and other logistics documentation.

Monitor compliance documentation for tankers and drivers.

Utilize ERP, Transport Management Systems (TMS), GPS tracking, and fleet management platforms.

Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, vehicle performance, and customer transactions.

Qualifications & Experience
<ul>

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
</li>
<li>
<strong>8–12 years of experience in logistics and transportation operations.</strong>
</li>
<li>
Minimum <strong>5 years of hands-on experience managing road tanker operations</strong>.
</li>
<li>
Experience in <strong>chemical, petrochemical, petroleum, fuel, liquid bulk, or hazardous goods transportation</strong> is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of UAE transportation regulations and dangerous goods handling requirements.
