Department Description:
Priority Banking manages affluent customer relationships providing a full range of products and services to meet their needs Priority Banking is a unit within the Retail Banking division and manages 350K wealth customers.

Job Purpose:

The incumbent will be responsible for managing and buildingup Retail Wealth Managementinvestments and Bancassurance product business across the Retail BankPRB BuB and PSB Manage client advisory process through client profiling model portfolios and sales process for investment and Bancassurance products Implement crosssell initiatives to increase investment and Bancassurance product penetrations within the Retail Bank portfolio Assist team of Relationship Managers in client meetings and providing complete end to end service to develop investmentBanca business.

Job Content:

  • Promote Advisory sales whether through multiasset funds or through construction of a model portfolio that is aligned with the CIO SAATAA.
  • Promote Insurance business for retail clients by identifying these needs through INNA.
  • Work with RWM product team to identify suitable products for RWM platform and continuously review and propose addition of new products.
  • Assist RMs in handling portfolio of customers and attend meetings with them to introduce and close investment and Bancassurance proposals.
  • Conduct individual client meetings for the given portfolio post client profiling Rebalancing portfolios whenever required.
  • Work with Branch PBAs and the SME relationship team to understand requirements and manage the referrals from these channels.
  • Construct implement and manage sales advisory process including Detailed client financial risk profiling, Model portfolio construction.
  • Train and educate RMs BMs and PBAs on qualified lead generation.
  • Take an active part in development of the team and providing inputs when required.
  • Regular performance dialogue with Relationship Managers on their prospective business and monitoring achievements on a regular basis.
  • Provide feedback on the performance of RMs to Cluster Managers and Area Managers.
  • Client relationship deepening and cross sell strategy formulation for the designated portfolio.
  • Attend various training programs for investments products and process.
  • Continuous trainings on various new product launches.
  • Attend advanced certification programs.
  • Jointly responsible for investment volume targets and investment and bancassurance revenues targets.
  • Ensure top 100 customers across the designated Retail Bank portfolio are personally known and have been visited within the past 12 months.


  • University or Graduate Degree or comparable educationtraining.
  • MBA is of advantage.
  • Level 3 CISI ICMIM is mandatory.
  • Language English while knowledge of regional languages is of advantage.
  • 3 years of similar experience in other banks or wealth management institutions.
  • Experience in selling.
  • Experience in investment product management of at least 3 years.
  • Experience across a wide range of Banking areas eg Retail wealth management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Supervisory ability and experience effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
