Understanding of production engineering concepts including nodal analysis, artificial lift, well performance optimization, flow assurance, and production surveillance. Familiarity with petroleum engineering software and analytical platforms such as Petrel, Eclipse, PIPESIM, PROSPER, GAP, OFM, CMG, Well Flo, or equivalent technologies. Strong data analysis capabilities with knowledge of production databases, engineering modeling, statistical analysis, and technical reporting. Understanding of enhanced oil recovery (EOR), water flooding, gas injection, secondary and tertiary recovery methods is advantageous. Knowledge of well integrity, pressure control, flow assurance, corrosion management, and production optimization is beneficial. Strong analytical, numerical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written, verbal, technical presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including geology, geophysics, drilling, completions, facilities, operations, and HSE professionals. Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, regulatory, and risk management principles within petroleum operations. Knowledge of digital oilfield technologies, industrial automation, IoT, machine learning, artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, and real-time production monitoring is advantageous. Familiarity with energy transition technologies such as carbon capture and storage (CCS), hydrogen, geothermal energy, emissions monitoring, and low-carbon operations is beneficial. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple engineering studies, projects, operational priorities, and technical deliverables. High level of professionalism, technical integrity, safety awareness, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence. Professional certifications or memberships with recognized engineering or petroleum organizations are considered advantageous but are not mandatory.
