The knowledge and experience required in the position is that gained previously experience working in a power or desalination plant and with exposure preferably to any of the maintenance and calibration of the following field instrumentation: Pressure, temperature, level, &amp; flow measuring devices Pneumatic &amp; Hydraulic valve actuation systems CO2 Fire Protection systems Infrared Gas Detection systems Working under time and technical pressure, and knowing that any mistake/error made will substantially cost the power station either on delay, equipment damage, or personnel injury. He can be assigned and work on shift duty. He can be called out any time to attend to breakdown work for the shift operation manager. Drive project execution strategies aligned with client objectives, timelines, budgets, quality benchmarks, and ESG goals. Oversee programme management, project controls, governance, risk management, and reporting frameworks. Implement digital project management systems, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making processes. Lead stakeholder engagement and executive-level client communication throughout the project lifecycle. Pre-Construction & Design Management Lead feasibility studies, budgeting, value engineering, tendering, procurement planning, and design coordination. Advise on project delivery models, contracting strategies, and construction methodologies. Drive adoption of modern construction technologies including BIM & Digital Twin integration, Modular and Prefabricated Construction, Precast & Steel Structures, Lean Construction practices, AI-enabled project monitoring, and Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms. Ensure multidisciplinary design coordination and technical compliance across all stages. Construction & Delivery Management Monitor construction progress, quality, safety, productivity, and contractor performance. Establish robust project controls, scheduling, cost monitoring, and reporting systems using Primavera P6, MS Project, Power BI, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or equivalent tools. Lead issue resolution, escalation management, and decision-making during execution phases.
