The Laboratory Instructor will support the Computer Science and Engineering department, prepare lab materials in consultation with the faculty, provide laboratory instruction to students, and contribute to the continuous improvement of lab course materials. Job Responsibilities Provide laboratory instruction for courses in Computer Science and Computer Engineering Work with faculty to develop lab materials and experiments Administer lab activities and provide timely feedback to faculty Supervise students in a professional manner and grade lab assignments Assist students with senior design project activities Perform regular lab equipment checks and follow up on equipment orders Support students’ extracurricular activities Complete duties as assigned by the Head of Department Qualifications And Skills Required Master’s degree in related field: computer science/ computer engineering. Knowledge of installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, configuring, and supporting laboratory equipment, computing systems, peripherals, and related software in an academic environment. Ability to prepare and set up laboratory exercises, materials, and equipment to ensure readiness for teaching. Strong English communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts, procedures, and safety expectations. Ability to create and maintain clear, organized technical documentation, including lab manuals and guides. Familiarity with relevant professional certifications, current tools, and industry practices to enhance laboratory instruction and technical support. About the Role We are seeking an experienced F-16 Crew Chief Instructor to deliver formal theoretical and practical technical training to aviation maintenance personnel. The role will be responsible for delivering approved training programmes, conducting examinations and assessments, supporting the development and continuous improvement of training materials, and ensuring accurate training records are maintained within the Learning Management System (LMS). Location: United Arab Emirates Key Responsibilities: Deliver authorized technical training courses in accordance with approved course and training plans. Deliver F-16 Crew Chief maintenance training covering relevant aircraft maintenance activities, inspections, troubleshooting, and launch and recovery operations. Prepare training materials and resources required for effective course delivery. Develop question banks and conduct, assess and mark examinations and individual assessments. Develop practical case studies and training scenarios. Review and update course materials and curricula to maintain technical accuracy and relevance. Support the development of training manuals, classroom materials and other instructional content. Collaborate with Course Developers, Analysts, Subject Matter Experts and Training Standards & Compliance teams. Maintain accurate and timely training documentation within the Oracle Learning Management System (LMS). Ensure training activities comply with applicable safety, quality and environmental management requirements. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in an aviation-related discipline. About the Role - A minimum of 3 years teaching English (preferably at a tertiary level) Must be able to provide instruction at various levels within the program areas Experience in developing course curriculum as per accreditation and international standards Effective presentation skills, both theoretical and practical Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels of the organization A high degree of computer literacy and demonstrated ability to integrate technology into the learning environment and teaching methodology Current knowledge of contemporary teaching practices and computer-assisted learning in the area of English as a Foreign Language and English for Specific Purposes Evidence of a personal professional development plan with membership to an internationally recognized professional association being preferred The ability to function as a team player within a multi-cultural work environment Overseas teaching/training experience to non-native English speakers is desirable Qualifications - Education details A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in TEFL/TESL from a recognized university is mandatory. <h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> Black Pearl is recruiting an energetic and qualified MMA Coach for a premium sports, fitness and wellness facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will deliver safe, motivational and high-energy MMA group classes while supporting member engagement, programme growth and customer retention. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES <ul><li>Plan and deliver safe, structured and energetic MMA group classes. </li><li>Provide clear instruction, practical demonstrations and appropriate technique correction. </li><li>Adapt classes to accommodate participants with different fitness and experience levels. </li><li>Maintain a positive, inclusive and highly motivational training environment. </li><li>Support participants in improving their technique, conditioning, discipline and confidence. </li><li>Deliver at least four group classes per working day, according to the approved schedule. </li><li>Support the growth of MMA class participation and overall programme engagement. </li><li>Build professional relationships with members and encourage continued participation. </li><li>Engage with members throughout the facility to improve customer satisfaction. </li><li>Assist the MMA Master Trainer and Fitness Management with programme development. </li><li>Help organise and deliver at least one member event each month to support retention and membership acquisition. </li><li>Promote approved MMA classes, fitness activities, events and campaigns. </li><li>Inspect the MMA studio and equipment before classes. </li><li>Ensure that training areas remain clean, safe and properly organised. </li><li>Report damaged equipment, incidents and potential safety risks immediately. </li><li>Comply with all health and safety, risk-management and operational procedures. </li></ul> RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria: <ul><li>High school certificate or equivalent. </li><li>Internationally recognised Group Exercise Instructor certification or a similar relevant qualification. </li><li>At least one year of experience as a Group Exercise Instructor, MMA Coach or similar. </li><li>Practical knowledge of MMA, combat-sports training and safe group-class delivery. </li><li>Ability to instruct and motivate participants with different ability levels. </li><li>Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Strong attention to participant safety and technical detail. </li><li>Physically capable of safely demonstrating the required exercises and movements. </li><li>Professional, reliable, punctual and team-oriented. </li></ul>PREFERRED <ul><li>Recognised MMA, martial arts or combat-sports coaching certification. </li><li>First Aid and CPR certification. </li><li>Previous experience working in a commercial fitness club, martial arts academy, combat-sports centre or premium wellness facility. </li><li>Experience supporting member events and programme promotions. </li></ul>HOW TO APPLY Applications are being managed by Black Pearl.
