Role Description The Chief Product Technology Officer (CPTO) is a part-time leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the product and technology vision for Synergies-Wheels. Based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, this hybrid position combines on-site collaboration with flexible work-from-home arrangements. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining product technology roadmaps, aligning IT and manufacturing technologies with business strategy, and overseeing the development and integration of new digital and production solutions. The CPTO will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product performance, drive process automation, manage technology-related projects, and ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role also includes mentoring technical leaders, evaluating emerging technologies, and establishing governance frameworks for information technology and product innovation. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, assess product performance, and support strategic decision-making. Candidates should possess Information Technology and IT Strategy skills to design, govern, and evolve the technology ecosystem supporting product development and manufacturing. Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan, execute, and monitor technology and product initiatives across multiple stakeholders and timelines. Candidates should possess Business Strategy skills to align product and technology decisions with market needs, customer requirements, and long-term organizational goals. Experience in automotive or advanced manufacturing environments, particularly related to materials or components, is highly beneficial. Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary teams, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change. Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex technical concepts in clear, business-focused language. Relevant advanced degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
