Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Ability to undertake Preservation tasks upon receipt of material at warehouse, post installation till handover of the same to the client. </li> <li>Ability to work on latest preservation methodologies including VCI, Blanketing, mechanical and electrical protection system under supervision.</li> <li>Familiar with all piping, equipment, Electrical systems and Control System hardware </li> <li>Familiar using Preservation document: P&ID, Equipment layout, Line list, Equipment GA, lubrication schedule, O&M manuals.</li> <li>Ensure that all PPE, PTW & HSE requirements are adhered to when at worksite.</li> <li>Receives Project documentation and understands Scope of Work related to his discipline.</li> <li>Identify test equipment required to complete testing at worksite and ensure all testing equipment are in safe operating condition prior use.</li> <li>Interfaces with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities.</li> <li>Undertake tests for various items under Preservation.</li> <li>Preparation of method statements, procedures and routines where required.</li> <li>Reports on work progress, bringing to notice potential problems or delays and recommends solutions.</li> <li>Check for completeness of pre-commissioning status index and commissioning technical database for Preservation Systems.</li> <li>Plan, Monitor and assist in Vendor activities as required.</li> <li>Ensure availability temporary supplies and commissioning spares are adequate for the subsystem testing.</li> <li>Collection and return of materials from stores for the respective discipline.</li> <li>Maintain time sheets for the assigned technicians.</li></ul>Compliance in accordance with HSE Standard. This is a permanent office-based role with regular vessel visits, drydock attendance, and port travel as required, providing technical management and oversight of the company's owned and long-term chartered vessel fleet. You will be responsible for ensuring vessels are maintained in full compliance with class, flag state, statutory, and client requirements while overseeing planned maintenance, drydock execution, technical procurement, and vendor management. Key Responsibilities Business & Sales Support Support the achievement of regional sales targets in line with the MEA business plan. Develop a strong understanding of Trina Solar's PV product portfolio, technology roadmap and product strategy. Partner with MEA Sales Managers to provide product and technical support for Utility and Distribution market opportunities. Market Intelligence Maintain close communication with customers to understand market needs, collect feedback and identify new opportunities. Monitor market trends, customer requirements and industry developments. Analyze market information and recommend improvement actions. Prepare regular market and business intelligence reports. Product Launch & Promotion Support regional new product launches and commercialization activities. Coordinate launch planning, localization of marketing materials and promotional toolkits. Organize customer seminars, webinars, exhibitions, product training and customer visits. Deliver product presentations and technical demonstrations. Competitor Analysis Monitor competitor products, pricing, market strategies and business activities. Conduct quarterly competitive analysis and benchmark Trina Solar products against key competitors. Provide recommendations to strengthen product positioning in the region. Product Management Support local product certification activities across the MEA region. Track certification progress and coordinate with certification agencies and HQ. Prepare required technical documentation and certification materials. Technical Pre-Sales Support Respond to customer technical inquiries regarding PV modules and Balance of System (BOS) components, including inverters, mounting systems and trackers. Support utility-scale project applications, including installation concepts for fixed-tilt and tracker systems. Conduct PV system simulations, energy yield assessments and value engineering analysis. Prepare technical proposals, project simulations and sales support materials. Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related Engineering discipline. Experience Experience in the photovoltaic (PV) industry with a strong technical background. Experience in product management, application engineering, technical marketing or pre-sales support is highly preferred. Experience supporting utility-scale solar projects will be an advantage. Skills Strong knowledge of PV modules and solar system applications. Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills. Customer-oriented with strong commercial awareness. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and cross-functional environment. Technical Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with PVsyst is preferred. Language Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Mandarin Chinese proficiency is preferred to facilitate communication with HQ and global stakeholders. Other Requirements Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the Middle East & Africa region. Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced international environment.
