Coordinate with AGCs and verify for adequacy of coverage of the AI universe and Key AI risks and ensure that AGCs audit plans incorporate the objectives of Group AI Assurance plans.</li><li>Provide relevant business and technology insights into the current, emerging & potential AI / technology issues, trends & opportunities affecting AGCs and BLDs. Provide input for the periodic reporting on AI assurance activities and performance relative to its plans, significant risk exposures, control/governance issues, and other related matters.   </li></ul> Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 2) Audit Execution <ul><li>Perform audits, advisory engagements, and other influencing activities in highly technical areas of current/emerging technologies within ADNOC and Group Companies. </li><li>Develop a detailed audit program / Risk & Control Matrix (RCM) for the assigned AI Assurance engagements, including the objectives, potential risk, key controls, audit procedures, and the use of audit techniques and tools to evaluate governance, risks, and controls processes, and submit audit program to the management for review and approval.</li><li>Ensure that adequate working papers and all relevant information are continuously documented and updated in the automated Audit Management System in accordance with pre-defined templates and audit procedures. </li><li>Identify high-risk areas and key control points across the AI Governance, lifecycle, including model design, training data, validation, deployment, monitoring, access management, explainability, bias, security, compliance, and third-party reliance etc. and whether AI initiatives are delivering intended business value. </li><li>Adapt the audit approach to the rapidly evolving AI landscape and deliver critical and complex technology audits that impact the group-wide internal controls.</li></ul>Audit Reports <ul><li>Prepare an audit report with a conclusion, expressing professional opinions on the adequacy and effectiveness of AI governance, risk management, control systems, extent to which AI initiatives are delivering intended value and benefits and the efficiency with which activities are carried out. Recommend improvement options to rectify reported deficiencies for Department Manager’s review.</li><li>Recommend practical enhancements in AI governance, risks, and control processes to assist in the achievement of the company's business objectives.  </li></ul> Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 3) Coordination <ul><li>Provide professional advice on Group Companies’ Audit Committee Charter,  IA Charter and AI Assurance Methodology/Procedures. Provide assistance in the establishment of the Group Audit Committees/IA functions and related governance when assigned. </li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:  Minimum Qualification <ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related Technology discipline or equivalent discipline </li></ul> Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills <ul><li>8-10 years of combined relevant experience in various emerging technology assurance (including automation, data science, artificial intelligence, IoT etc.) related governance and control, with experience evaluating AI and emerging technology-enabled initiatives and their business value realization in a corporate environment. You will work closely with Executive Management, Brand Partners, and Joint Venture leadership teams to drive profitable growth, support strategic investments, enhance shareholder value, and provide financial leadership across the full business lifecycle. The role combines business partnering, corporate finance, FP&A, governance, business development, and executive-level stakeholder management, requiring both strong analytical capabilities and commercial acumen. <h4>Key responsibilities:</h4> <ul> <li>Strategic business partnering Serve as the primary finance partner for the Fashion & Jewelry Joint Venture portfolio. Partner with Joint Venture Finance Teams, and Chalhoub Executive Management to support strategic decision-making. Challenge business assumptions and provide independent, data-driven recommendations. Drive value creation initiatives focused on profitability, cash generation, and return on investment. Support negotiations with international luxury brand partners on strategic and financial matters.</li> <li>Financial planning & performance management Lead the annual budget, rolling forecast, and long-term planning processes. Monitor financial performance against budget, forecast and prior year, identifying risks and opportunities. Perform detailed variance analysis and translate financial results into actionable business insights. Drive initiatives to improve revenue growth, profitability, cash flow and working capital.</li> <li>Corporate finance & financial modelling Build robust financial models to support: New Joint Venture opportunities Business development projects Store investment decisions Valuation exercises M&A and shareholder transactions Develop integrated financial models including: Profit & Loss Balance Sheet Cash Flow Enterprise Value IRR, NPV and Payback analysis Evaluate investment opportunities and prepare financial recommendations for Executive Management.</li> <li>Governance & executive reporting Prepare high-quality financial presentations for senior leadership and shareholders. Present financial analyses and strategic recommendations to senior executives. Ensure consistency, accuracy and transparency of financial reporting across the portfolio. Support Joint Venture governance, shareholder reporting and Board decision-making processes.</li> <li>Financial systems & process improvement Continuously improve financial reporting processes, planning tools and analytical capabilities. Drive automation and process efficiencies across finance activities. Ensure strong financial controls and high standards of data integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational effectiveness.</li> </ul> <h4>What you'll need to succeed</h4> <ul> <li>You hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.</li> <li>You preferably hold an MBA and/or professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CFA or CMA).</li> <li>You possess a minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, including significant exposure to FP&A, business partnering or corporate finance.</li> <li>You preferably have experience within luxury retail, retail, FMCG or consumer goods.</li> <li>You preferably have previous exposure to Joint Ventures, multinational organizations or matrix environments.</li> <li>You are adept in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.</li> <li>You possess advanced financial modelling and valuation skills.</li> <li>You have a solid understanding of IFRS and financial reporting.</li> <li>You possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.</li> <li>You have advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with ERP and BI tools is an advantage.</li> <li>You possess excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders through credible financial insights.</li> <li>You have a commercial mindset with a strong focus on value creation.</li> <li>You are a strategic thinker capable of balancing long-term vision with operational execution.</li> <li>You have excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.</li> <li>You have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.</li> <li>You possess a high level of ownership, integrity and attention to detail.</li> </ul> <h4>What makes this role unique</h4> <ul> <li>Strategic exposure to some of the world's leading luxury brands.</li> <li>Regular interaction with C-suite executives, Boards of Directors and international shareholders.</li> <li>Opportunity to work across business partnering, corporate finance, business development, governance and strategic projects.</li> <li>Significant visibility within the Group and direct contribution to key investment and partnership decisions.</li> </ul> <h4>What we can offer you</h4> With us, you will turn your aspirations into reality.
