<p>Preparing and implementing Project Quality plan. Setting-up/establishing and monitoring all project QA/QC Implementing project procedures and PQP, on approval by the Client Reviewing Method Statements, preparing corresponding Inspection &amp; Test Plans and checklists/forms and obtaining approval from Client, as required Planning and allocating various QA/QC activities to team members Orientating/training staff, workmen and subcontractor personnel on quality requirements Coordinating with the site team for effective implementation of the approved PQP Coordinating with subcontractors for implementation applicable parts of the PQP Identifying, calibrating, reviewing and maintaining a list of testing and measuring equipment Identifying testing laboratories and obtaining approvals Inspecting and testing incoming materials, activities/workmanship per ITP and maintaining identifiable and traceable records Coordinating with the site team to prepare Requests for Inspection (RFIs) Coordinating inspections and tests, per the approved ITP, with the Clients and obtaining clearances</p>

<p>As a Project Engineering Manager, the person shall ensure that the engineering activities of the project takes place within stipulated time (w.r.t. both quality &amp; cost). She / He shall ensure the adherence to L2 schedule during execution of the project. She / He shall work on optimizations / alternate proposals / solutions for quick delivery of the project with a positive margin. She / He shall perform inter-discipline coordination (Civil, Structural, MEP &amp; Instrumentation). The PEM shall perform work allocation and man-hours allocation of different roles in the project. Desirable awareness of ETAP, PSCAD &amp; CYMGRD and Project Planning Tools</p><p>Technical Expertise :</p><p>The Project Engineering Manager shall have overall expertise in both primary engineering &amp; secondary engineering for substation projects. The Manager is required to have thorough understanding in design aspects of GIS / AIS Substations up to 765 KV. She / He is required to be proficient in selection of equipment such as Power Transformers, Reactors, Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, Instrument Transformer. He shall be well versed in Substation Primary and Secondary Design including Earthing, Lighting, Lightning Protection, Cabling etc, interfaces between Civil, MEP &amp; Instrumentation and Secondary engineering activities like Schemes, Wiring Diagrams, SCADA &amp; Control System. The PEM is required to have understanding of leading and execution of projects for different geographies / clients / utilities. She / he should have detailed knowledge of the equipment to be installed and the market conditions for vendor engineering. The PEM is required to understand and interpret the contractual technical requirements and facilitate the Project Teams as and when required. The PEM shall have good interviewing skills.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Qualification &amp; Experience :</p><p>B.E. / B. Tech. in Electrical / Electrical &amp; Electronics Engineering</p><p>12+ years (Must have experience predominantly in design aspects of Substation Construction and leading Engineers in execution of multiple projects)</p><p>Tendering experience is an advantage (Providing insights ti the tendering team)</p>

<p>As a Design Engineer (Primary), the person shall be capable of preparing, reviewing &amp; executing Primary Engineering Activities for Substation Projects as per the direction of Design Lead (Primary). He must have good knowledge in Layout Engineering in Substation Projects. He shall facilitate the modellers in development of BIM 3D Model for Substations. As a Design Engineer (Primary), the person shall be required to design the layout of the substation and provide inputs to the draftsman for development of drawings. Key Responsibilities Timely review of the drawings developed by the draftsman Interact with Site Execution &amp; Cluster teams for clarification w.r.t. the design of equipment Coordinate with inter-disciplinary areas, inter-departmental checks (Civil &amp; Structural, MEP &amp; Instrumentation) for obtaining concurrence in design specifications Ensure compliance to specification requirements Review of drawings (2D &amp; 3D) and Documentation conforming to Quality systems Review of Vendor Offers and Documents Pre-Tender Engineering including estimation of BOM (Bill of Materials) and Offer Reviews Prepare design calculations of all Substation equipment (sizing calculations of Busbar, UPS, DG, LT Transformer, Earthing Conductor) &amp; other calculations (viz. The Engineer is required to have knowledge on National and International Codes and Standards. In addition, the Design Engineer (Primary) should also have an overall understanding of the inter-disciplinary (Civil &amp; Structural, Mechanical and Instrumentation) design aspects of electrical equipment.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>B.E. / B. <p>The Engineering Manager Electrical BESS will lead the electrical engineering and technical design activities for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects integrated with utility-scale and commercial/industrial solar PV projects. The role is responsible for providing technical leadership across the complete BESS project lifecycle, from concept and system architecture through detailed engineering, procurement support, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover. The position will ensure that BESS electrical designs are technically sound, safe, compliant with applicable standards and grid requirements, commercially optimized, and aligned with project schedules and EPC execution requirements. Key Responsibilities Plan, schedule, assign work, establish priorities, take appropriate measures to ensure work meets specifications and is completed on schedule. Review of Engineering document prepared at Remote Engineering office and assigning the same to Local Adaptation consultant for Language Translation &amp; compliance to local Standard. Co-ordinating with all discipline engineering and capable to resolve conflicts for engineering Requires balancing depth of engineering analyses against time and cost constraints and determining proper level of technical detail to release to customers &amp; Authority approval. Co-ordinating with Remote Engineering Office, Local Consultants and Local Authority for Engineering approval for Construction activities. Promote independent actions to improve operating efficiencies and customer relations. Negotiate with customers, technical issues of considerable significance that may impact current and future business. Resolve conflicts between engineers and customers, to reach mutual satisfaction and agreement. Coordinate with Project Planning Manager and ensure deliveries are aligned to Project Schedule.
