Assistant Safety Officer – Job Description Location: JAFZA, Dubai Experience: 1–2 years in HSE/HSSE, preferably in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations We are looking for a proactive and responsible Assistant Safety Officer to support the HSE/HSSE team in maintaining a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace across our warehouse and logistics operations in JAFZA, Dubai. The role combines analytical, administrative, and commercial responsibilities, including pricing to brokers, performing data analysis, and providing operational support across purchasing and sales activities. The position plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, data integrity, and cross-team coordination within a fast-paced, global environment. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: <ul><li>Work as part of the Reverse Logistics team to optimise service quality, drive business growth, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction</li><li>Maintain and continuously improve the Purchasing Master Database, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity</li></ul>Execute the end-to-end RFQ and order process across systems, including: <ul><li>Running daily RFQ matches across multiple datasets Pricing and issuing quotes to brokers, suppliers, and internal sales teams Processing purchase orders (POs) and sales orders (SOs) accurately and efficiently</li><li>Proactively analyse historical and daily data to identify trends, patterns, and commercial opportunities</li><li>Perform cross-matching activities to validate data accuracy and uncover additional value opportunities</li><li>Manage offer releases, stock uploads, and support trading activity</li><li>Coordinate stock releases and support preparation of obsolescence and excess stock files</li><li>Proactively generate opportunities by leveraging stock and offers provided by sales teams</li><li>Provide reporting, ad hoc analysis, and maintain data-driven tools/projects to support decision-making</li><li>Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, global teams, customers, and suppliers</li><li>Provide cover for team members when required across quoting, administration, and analytics to maintain service levels</li><li>Support the Line Manager/Director and wider team with day-to-day priorities</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing processes, systems, and data quality</li><li>Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard, with strong attention to detail and within required timelines</li></ul>Requirements: <ul><li>Written & Oral fluency in English</li><li>Background/experience in customer service</li><li>Experience in reverse logistics, returns management, inventory control</li><li>MS Office, Excel skills</li><li>Sales background/ experience in advantagous </li></ul>Work location: In Office, Rebound Electronics DUBAI BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
