JOB DESCRIPTION 2Chief Financial Officer (CFO)1. JOB DETAILS

Job Title Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Reports to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Department Finance Industry Cybersecurity Employment Type Full-Time

2. JOB PURPOSEWe are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial strategy and operations of a growing cybersecurity company. This is not a role for transferable potential: the successful candidate will already have held senior finance leadership within the cybersecurity sector and will be able to evidence it. We are looking for a proven operator with a demonstrable track record of measurable results — scaling revenue, managing burn and runway, and delivering funding outcomes — in a comparable technology environment, who can partner closely with the CEO and Board on strategic growth, fundraising, and long-term financial planning. Shortlisted candidates will be expected to substantiate every claimed achievement with specific, quantifiable outcomes from prior roles.

3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial Strategy & Leadership Develop and execute the company's overall financial strategy in alignment with business growth objectives. Partner with the CEO and Board on strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling. Provide financial insights and scenario planning to support key business decisions (product investment, market expansion, M&A). Financial Planning & Reporting Own the full P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow management. Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting to the CEO, Board, and investors. Establish and monitor KPIs and financial metrics relevant to a Saa S/cybersecurity business model (ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV, burn rate, runway). Fundraising & Investor Relations Lead fundraising efforts (equity/debt), including preparing financial materials, data rooms, and investor presentations. Manage relationships with existing and prospective investors, banks, and financial partners. Support due diligence processes for funding rounds, partnerships, or M&A activity. Governance, Compliance & Risk Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax requirements, and corporate governance standards across all operating jurisdictions. Oversee financial risk management, including cybersecurity-specific considerations (e.g., cyber-insurance, financial controls around data/IP assets). Implement and maintain strong internal controls and audit processes. Team & Operational Leadership Build, lead, and mentor the finance team as the company scales. Oversee accounting, treasury, payroll, tax, and financial operations. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering leadership on pricing strategy, revenue recognition, and cost management.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLSMinimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CFA) strongly preferred. Minimum 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including at least 3-5 years in a CFO, VP Finance, or senior finance leadership role. Direct, hands-on senior finance leadership within the cybersecurity sector is mandatory — demonstrable, recent, and supported by verifiable references. Proven, evidenced fundraising experience (VC/PE) and/or investor relations, with specific deal outcomes the candidate can substantiate — round size, structure, valuation, and timeline. A demonstrable record of quantifiable achievements in prior senior finance roles — for example ARR/revenue grown from one level to another, gross-margin improvement, burn reduced, runway extended, or a successful audit or exit. General statements will not be accepted in place of numbers. Track Record & Evidence Required Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following with concrete evidence, not general statements:● Specific financial results delivered in previous roles, expressed in numbers — e.g. ARR/MRR growth, gross-margin improvement, burn reduction, runway extension, or cost savings realised.● At least one funding, M&A, or exit outcome the candidate personally led or co-led, with round size, structure, and timeline.● First-hand experience of the cybersecurity (or directly comparable technology) business model — its metrics, unit economics, and specific risk landscape.● Verifiable references and, where available, supporting materials or anonymised case examples for the achievements claimed.● Selection will focus on evidence of past outcomes, not hypothetical capability; candidates who cannot substantiate their track record will not be progressed. Technical & Functional Skills Strong command of financial modeling, forecasting, and Saa S metrics. Experience with financial systems/ERP platforms and reporting tools. Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional tax, compliance, and regulatory requirements. First-hand understanding of the cybersecurity industry's business model, risk landscape, and investor expectations — required, not a plus. Core Competencies Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen. Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly with investors and Boards. Strong leadership and team-building capability. High integrity, discretion, and sound judgment given sensitivity of financial and cybersecurity-related data. Results-driven, with a track record of measurable outcomes rather than activity — able to point to what was delivered, in numbers. Evidence-based and rigorous — makes and defends claims with data, and expects the same from the team.5. SUCCESS IN THE FIRST 12 MONTHS● A clear, board-ready view of the company's financial position, KPIs, and runway is in place and trusted.● Financial planning, reporting, and controls are tightened to institutional-investor standard.● The next fundraising or capital plan is prepared and investor-ready, with data room and materials built.● Finance operations (accounting, treasury, payroll, tax) run cleanly and scale with the business.● The CEO and Board make faster, better-informed decisions because finance provides the numbers and the options.

About Jackpot Technologies
Jackpot Technologies is a fast-growing company in the online gaming sector. We operate jackpot.studio, our B2B games division that builds in-house games and licenses them to casino operators globally. Our portfolio includes classics like Dice, Blackjack, and Plinko, and originals like Top Dollar, Dr Pump, and Cases.
We are a small, agile team that moves quickly and takes real pride in our work. Every game that ships carries our name, which means craft and follow-through are paramount.
The role
Casino games live or die on feel, and on mobile, feel is everything. You will build real games in React Native, from the core loop and the reels to the win sequences, the particle FX, and the exact moment a payout lands.
These are native games we license to operators worldwide, so they have to run buttery smooth on every device, hold a rock-solid 60fps, and feel as good as anything in the store. You will care as much about timing, easing, and frame budgets, and about bridge and bundle performance, as you do about clean code. A win should feel like a win.
What you will do
* Build casino games end to end in React Native and TypeScript: game loop, rendering, state, math integration, and UI.
* Bring mechanics to life with precise timing and feel, from slot reels and multiplier curves to card, dice, and wheel games.
* Build the juice with Reanimated, Skia, and GL: win animations, particle FX, screen transitions, and big-win celebrations.
* Integrate game math, RNG, and real-time outcomes from our backend, with deterministic, verifiable results.
* Hit 60fps on a wide range of devices. Profile with Hermes, eliminate bridge bottlenecks, and optimize render, memory, and bundle size.
* Implement responsive layouts across portrait and landscape, phone and tablet, with multi-language and multi-currency support.
* Drive custom rendering with react-native-skia, react-native-game-engine, or GL / WebGL when the standard view tree is not enough.
* Partner with artists, animators, designers, and backend so each game ships as one polished piece.
* Build reusable systems and a shared game framework so the next title ships faster.
What you will bring

3+ years building production mobile apps or games, with strong React Native and TypeScript depth and titles you have shipped to both stores.

A strong grasp of game loops, frame timing, and rendering performance.

Hands-on custom rendering: react-native-skia, Reanimated 3, react-native-game-engine, or GL / WebGL.

Animation chops: Reanimated and Gesture Handler, Rive or Lottie, and skeletal animation (Spine) a plus.

Solid architecture and state management (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar) that scales across many titles.

Performance profiling (Flipper, Hermes), and awareness of the new architecture (Fabric and TurboModules).

Real-time integration: websockets, deterministic outcomes, and graceful reconnection.

A real respect for timing. You can explain why your 18-frame easing feels better than the 12-frame version.

Fluent with modern AI coding tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor) in your daily workflow. You use them to move faster without sacrificing quality or control.

A fast, reliable production cadence. You plan your work, hit your dates, and do not leave messes for the next person.

Bonus points

Built slot or casino games before, and understand RTP, volatility, and certification constraints.

Game math, RNG, or remote game server (RGS) integration experience.

Deep Skia, GL, or shader work in React Native.

Native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) modules when you need to drop down a layer.

Unity or another game engine in your background.

Sound-led animation instincts. You animate to audio and it shows.

Built a shared game framework or design system that sped up a whole team.

Tools you will work with
Daily: React Native, TypeScript, react-native-skia, Figma, Git
Often: Reanimated, Rive, Lottie, REST and websockets, Xcode, Android Studio
Bonus: Swift, Kotlin, GLSL / WebGL, Unity, Spine
How we work
We care equally about quality and velocity. The best people in our team use modern tools as a multiplier, not a shortcut. AI has changed how great engineering teams operate, and we expect everyone we hire to be on the front edge of that change.

Fluent with AI tools as part of your daily craft. You know which tools help, which do not, and when a hand-written solution still wins.

Stay on top of the ecosystem. New SDK versions, new patterns, new tooling. You read, you try things, you do not wait for someone to tell you the platform moved.

Use that fluency to ship higher quality work faster, not to cut corners. Craft comes first. AI is the lever, not the product.

Share what you learn. If you find a workflow that saves the team two days a week, write it up.

Why you might like it here

You ship real games to real players, not pitch decks. Our titles run live with operators worldwide, so your work reaches actual players fast.

We are early. You will have real ownership of how our games are built and real influence on the tech and the feel.

We do not believe in slide-deck culture. If you like building more than meeting, you will fit.

Dubai base, international team, healthy pace. We work hard, we deliver, we go home.

Compensation and benefits

Monthly salary: AED 12,000 to AED 20,000, dependent on experience

A key role in a fast-moving, fast-growing iGaming company where your work ships and real players see it

A collaborative engineering environment where your contributions have direct, visible impact

On-site in Dubai with a small, craft-obsessed team

The AI Engineer / Agent Developer is the hands-on builder of the Group’s Agentic AI capability, turning approved use cases into working, reliable agents that operate safely against real enterprise systems and data.
The role spans rapid prototyping and production engineering — designing prompts and retrieval strategies, integrating agents with core platforms and tools, and instrumenting them so that accuracy, reliability, cost, and exception handling can be measured and improved. Success is judged not by demonstrations but by agents that hold up in daily business use under enterprise standards of security and control.

▶ Agent Development & Engineering
– Build, configure, and test AI agents against defined business use cases, translating solution blueprints into working implementations.
– Work hands-on across prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), workflow automation, API development, and tool integration.
– Implement agent reasoning patterns, tool selection logic, memory and context management, and structured output handling.
– Design and implement guardrails — input validation, output constraints, confidence thresholds, and safe failure behaviour.
– Apply disciplined engineering practice: version control, code review, environment separation, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
▶ Prototyping & Production Deployment
– Develop rapid prototypes that prove or disprove feasibility quickly, with clear articulation of assumptions and limitations.
– Support the transition of validated prototypes into production deployment, including hardening, performance tuning, and operational documentation.
– Prepare release artefacts, runbooks, and support handover materials for infrastructure and application support teams.
– Contribute to shared libraries, reusable components, prompt templates, and evaluation harnesses that accelerate future builds.
▶ Enterprise Systems Integration
– Connect AI agents with enterprise systems, documents, databases, and workflow tools, including ERP, CRM, HRMS, procurement, and document repositories.
– Build and consume secure APIs and integration services, managing authentication, rate limits, error handling, and retry logic.
– Implement human-in-the-loop approval steps and escalation routes so that agent actions remain reviewable and reversible.
– Coordinate with enterprise application owners on data contracts, sandbox access, regression testing, and release windows.
▶ Performance Monitoring & Quality Assurance
– Monitor agent performance, accuracy, reliability, latency, and exception handling in both test and production environments.
– Build evaluation datasets and automated test suites to detect regression when prompts, models, or upstream data change.
– Investigate failures and unexpected behaviour to root cause, and implement corrective changes with documented evidence of improvement.
– Track token consumption and inference cost, and optimise model selection, context size, and caching accordingly.
▶ Collaboration, Security & Documentation
– Work closely with the AI / Agentic AI Lead, data engineers, application specialists, and business users throughout the delivery cycle.
– Apply cybersecurity and data protection requirements in every build, including data classification, secrets management, and least-privilege access.
– Maintain clear technical documentation covering architecture, prompts, integrations, known limitations, and support procedures.
– Support user enablement by demonstrating capability, gathering structured feedback, and iterating on real-world usage.

Desired Candidate Profile

▶ Education
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
– Postgraduate qualification in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science is an advantage.
▶ Professional Certifications
– Certification in a major AI or cloud platform (Microsoft Azure AI Engineer, AWS Machine Learning, Google Cloud Professional ML Engineer, or equivalent).
– Developer-level certifications in Python, cloud application development, or integration platforms are advantageous.
– Recognised training in Agentic AI frameworks, RAG architecture, or LLM application security is an asset.
▶ Experience
– 4–7 years of experience in software development, automation, data engineering, AI/ML, or enterprise application integration.
– Hands-on experience in building, configuring, testing, and deploying AI agents or GenAI-based applications.
– Experience with AI/GenAI platforms such as OpenAI API, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or similar.
– Familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, or similar.
– Demonstrated experience integrating applications with enterprise systems, databases, document repositories, and workflow tools.
– Exposure to production support, monitoring, and incident resolution for deployed solutions.
▶ Key Skills & Attributes
– Strong practical coding ability, with clean, testable, and well-documented implementation.
– Structured debugging and root-cause analysis for probabilistic systems where failures are not always reproducible.
– Clear judgement on when a prototype is genuinely production-ready and when it is not.
– Ability to work directly with business users to refine requirements and validate outputs.
– Disciplined approach to security, data protection, and access control in every build.
– Curiosity and self-directed learning in a technology area that changes month to month
