Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.<br><br>Job Purpose<br><br>The job holder is responsible to manage the Quality Assurance & Quality Control processes, team, and all other resources to support specific ADNOC Growth Project(s) and to ensure enforcement and full compliance to Project specific Contractual QA/QC requirements by all the parties involved while meeting ADNOC Policies & Processes, international standards and practices, and Owners’ Policies and Directives.<br><br>This role includes; managing the projects’ quality management systems to support the project(s) documentation, referencing, and data; leading the projects’ compliance and risk registers, while developing the quality plans to support smooth implementation of ADNOC project(s), and meeting the pre-defined standards and end-user specifications through ensuring timely monitoring of quality reports and concerns. Also, ensuring timely compilation of all the Lessons Learned from projects for future reference and continuing improvement.<br><br>Key Accountabilities<br><br>Job Specific Accountabilities<br><br>Projects Quality Management System<br><br>Ensure Project Specific Quality Management System and related manuals and procedures are timely developed, approved by Company and enforced on project for full compliance. Such system shall meeting the Project Contractual Requirements, PTS Procedures, Owners’ expectations; (i.e. VAP, GPE, ERM, etc.), ADNOC Quality Policies, Projects specific requirements, lesson learnt, etc. Ensure any changes in Project requirements, specifications, schedule, etc. are implemented following applicable Project MOC procedure. Develop, update and maintain list of Quality Objectives, KPIs and Contractual Requirements and Company's quality expectations from each type of service providers (Process Licensors, Pre-FEED Engineer, FEED Contractors, EPC contractors, other consultants, and suppliers) and project phase. Participate and contribute in developing company strategy related to vendor and field inspection and selection of TPI agency to ensure that the quality of critical equipment and material are within company specified acceptance criteria. Provide projects management and teams with consultation while ensuring development and maintaining availability of up to date Project Quality Management System meeting the requirements of ISO 9000 series, company policies and shareholder expectations, agreed project and/or phase specific quality objectives. Ensure an overall Project Risk Register covering all the Project specific risks are maintained within respective Project. Ensure periodic review and update of the Risk Register in coordination with all Packages and other internal and external stakeholders as applicable. Review all the Audit reports on Project and findings, ensuring that corrective actions are followed-up and timely closed-out by the respective Parties i.e. IPMT/Contractors/service providers/Stakeholders and feedback on such corrective actions are timely communicated to concern parties including PTS core team. Liaise with the Project PMs/SPMs and other PTS managers and support them and PTS senior management on Project related Quality and Compliance matters including but not limited to VAP (Value Assurance Process), GPE (Group Project Engineering) quality related requirements. Review Quality system documentation of process Licensors, EPC contractors and suppliers for compliance to Company's and Project specific contractual requirements. Monitoring compliance to procedural and contractual QA/QC requirements by all the parties through reviews, follow-up and conducting Quality Audits. Monitor that Project(s) are maintaining the compliance to Quality requirements as per expectations and contractual requirements including maintain up to date Lesson Learned Register, Project Risk Registers, NCR Registers, etc. through periodic review and update. Ensuring project QA/QC organization is adequately resourced with required QA/QC personnel as per the project type, size, complexity and/or speciality. Ensure inclusion of appropriate QA/QC related requirements and KPIs as Contractual Scope for respective sub-Contractors, Vendors, service providers for the Project. Provide support in identifying suitable Contracting strategy and selection of TPI (Third Party Inspection) consultant(s), scrutinizing specialized Inspector(s) for specific inspection/surveillance for PTS and its projects. Maintain an overall Project Internal Quality Audit Plan covering all its Package Contractors through necessary alignment with respective managers of Project, Packages, Contractors/Service-Providers. Assist Projects Management and Committees; i.e. PM, IPMT, etc. in its interface management with third parties relating to quality issues. Ensure systems and procedures are in place for periodic assessment/examination of projects overall activities and compliance to the same. Identify and communicate any non-compliances and/or areas of improvement through periodic internal audits and management reviews with the concerned Package Manager/Project Manager, and follow-up to ensure that agreed corrective actions are timely implemented. Monitoring and reviewing trend results on Project Quality matters and ensuring timely initiation of root cause identification initiatives and associated preventive actions. Monitoring quality audit reports, non-conformance reports, material delivery deficiency reports, proactive preparation for preservation of equipment/materials, maintaining necessary correspondence, records and minutes of meetings for quality trends. Attend internal / external project review, progress and other meetings, as necessary, including those with Licensor(s), Consultants, Engineers, EPC Contractors and others. All the engineering and other Project deliverables are prepared, distributed, reviewed, approved and handed-over to Company in line with the approved projects procedures, Company’s expectation and Contractual requirements. Maintaining Project Lesson Learnt Register by periodic review and registering input to the Lesson Learnt register on Project QA/QC related matters. Regularly and timely cascading the Project learning to PTS for all its future projects through systematic segregation and classification- as part of continuing improvements. Interface with other PTS Managers for alignment on any changes in Project QA/QC requirements, non-conformance, compliance to QA/QC requirements by Vendors and Contractor, etc. and continuing improvement initiatives. Ensure supporting PTS QA/QC team for development, continuing improvement and maintaining continuity of Project related QA/QC expertise and timely availability of all QA/QC resources for supporting and meeting projects requirements,ADNOC and Company’s QA/QC expectations and associated compliance in a most efficient and cost effective manner. <br><br>Generic Accountabilities<br><br>Ensure cascading related policies, practices of the vision and long term strategy for ADNOC and its Projects to the team. Facilitate Project QA/QC initiatives to maximize returns to its shareholders. Ensure project's strategy and overall business goals are fully adhered by the team, while instilling the team’s behaviours and practices towards the ADNOC’s Values, desired working environment, and customer focus. Monitor the team’s performance in relation to respective contribution towards the company’s long and short term plans and project objectives. Manage the outputs and all expectations by the project team. Empower, recommend, and motivate the team towards uplifting their competencies in relation with their role in projects. Derive and empower the team to ensure proper working environment according to the company culture, while ensuring the desired professionalism and compliance to ADNOC e’s data confidentiality, corporate image, according to local regulation and norms for all internal and external communications and business relations. Support Project in controlling of expenditure against approved (QA/QC related) budget and investigate & reconcile any significant variances to ensure effective performance and cost control Spearhead the Team through identification of need for training/development to meet project requirements. Lead the team to make sure accomplishment of all tasks by conducting regular short and weekly meetings. Provide the team with support and guidance in relevance to all activities, policy, procedures and project contractual requirements specially in reference to QA/QC. Keep abreast and knowledgeable on the updates for Health, Safety, Environment, Crisis Management, and Risk Registers for all the performed processes and activities within the Project scope. Monitor, promote, communicate and lead by example all the safety-related communications, updates, standards and any related topics with co-workers and within any interface. Review the HSE Compliance by the team,and provide with timely feedback and recommendations to leverage a risk-free environment to ensure the ultimate goals of safe workplace. Propose, update, and recommend improvements to process that enhance the quality of service provided to the Project, internal and external customers, Create and foster spirit among the team that encourages innovation, enhances employee motivation and supports initiatives for implementation of Change Management (MoC) to continuously improve processes and services. Evaluate internal processes against best practices in pursuit of more efficient Project QA/QC processes in order to define intelligent solutions for issues (if any) confronting the function. Align the Project QA/QC processes, systems, standards, procedures and internal controls, includes ensuring compliance with project specific contractual requirements, PTS and Company’s guidelines. Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation and legal regulations and propose solutions to the management on issues related to the Projects and PTS function.<br><br>Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills<br><br>Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills<br><br>A bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering or equivalent, obtained from an accredited university. Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including at least 5 years of experience in the GCC region. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position on international Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects. Experience in ADNOC /Offshore project is an advantage. Exposure to work in various project phases; from FEED to EPC for mega projects in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical. Sound knowledge on project handover and associated compliance requirements. Communication skills in both writing and verbally. <ul><li>Lead electrical engineering and design activities for industrial projects.</li><li>Manage the preparation and review of electrical design deliverables including:</li><li>Power generation and distribution system design, Load schedules and power balance studies, Single line diagrams (SLDs), Cable sizing and cable routing layouts, Electrical equipment specifications (transformers, switchgear, MCCs), Earthing and grounding system design, Lightning protection system design, Lighting design calculations and layouts, Short circuit, load flow, and protection coordination studies</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable international codes, project specifications, and industry standards.</li><li>Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Instrumentation, and HSE teams to ensure proper electrical integration.</li><li>Review and approve engineering contractor and vendor documents including datasheets, drawings, and test reports.</li><li>Support technical discussions with clients, consultants, licensors, and third-party stakeholders.</li><li>Participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, constructability reviews, and value engineering workshops.</li><li>Support procurement activities including technical bid evaluations and vendor data reviews.</li><li>Provide engineering support during installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.</li><li>Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers and designers.</li><li>Ensure project schedules, quality requirements, and engineering deliverables are met within agreed budgets.</li></ul>
<p><strong>KEY QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><br>
<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline.</li><li>Master's Degree is an advantage.</li><li>Minimum 10–15 years of electrical engineering experience in industrial or oil & gas projects.</li><li>Minimum 5 years in a Senior Electrical Engineer or equivalent role.</li><li>Strong experience in FEED and Detailed Design (DD) phases of projects.</li><li>Solid knowledge of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems in industrial facilities.</li><li>Familiarity with international standards and codes such as IEC, IEEE, NEC, and relevant project specifications.</li><li>Experience in electrical system studies including load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, and arc flash analysis.</li><li>Knowledge of electrical equipment design including transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS systems, and generators.</li><li>Understanding of grounding, earthing, lightning protection, and hazardous area classification.</li><li>Familiarity with engineering software such as ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, SKM PowerTools, AutoCAD, and other electrical design tools.</li><li>Experience in brownfield and greenfield project environments (Preferred).</li><li>Exposure to EPC contractor and consultant project execution environments (Preferred).</li><li>Strong understanding of construction support, commissioning, and site electrical troubleshooting activities (Preferred).</li></ul>
