Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver specialized lectures and academic sessions under the Higher Diploma in Drug Control programme in the consultant’s area of expertise. 2. Provide technical and subject-matter input to support the development and delivery of course content in line with international standards and relevant methodologies. 4. Contribute to the continuous improvement of course content and delivery approaches based on teaching experience, participant engagement, and feedback.<br> Qualifications/special skills<br>• Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in toxicology, pharmaceutical sciences, medicine, criminology, behavioral sciences, public health, statistics, data analysis, economics, public policy, or another relevant field is required. A first-level university degree in similar fields in combination with an additional two (2) years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. • At least seven (7) years of relevant professional experience in drug treatment, toxicology, addiction treatment, rehabilitation, social reintegration, public health, research, statistical analysis or related fields, is required. • Experience in delivering academic or professional training, including curriculum development and lecture delivery is required. • Knowledge in the field of drug control, particularly the international regime on both drug control and crime prevention (conventions, standards and norms), is desirable. • Experience in delivering training and/or technical assistance in the GCC and or the MENA region is desirable.<br> Languages<br>• English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
