Must have at least (5) years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects with preference of commissioning sour gas, Utilities, Power Steam and Generation and air separation projects. Well verse with Completion Management System as super-user, and reporting application are preferred. He/She needs to provide his expertise and knowledge to lead completion activities as well as assists and supports Onshore Sr. Commissioning manager and EPC Contractor to ensure implementation of Company and industry standards within project schedule and cost. Lead, manage, and govern all Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning, and System Handover activities on behalf of ADNOC, ensuring all project systems are completed, certified, and handed over in full compliance with ADNOC standards. Proficient knowledge of systemization, P&IDs, and completion processes. Familiarity with international standards (API, ASME, IEC). ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><br><br><br><ul><li><b>Leadership and Management:</b></li></ul><ul><li>Establish and approve Completion Management philosophy, procedures, and execution strategy</li><li>Onshore Completion Lead shall provide guidance to his completion Team, EPC contractor, Sub-Contractors.</li><li>Verify and advise EPC contractor on systemization, subsystem breakdown, and completion sequencing to aligned with start-up priorities.</li><li>Provide advice and support for Sr. Commissioning Manager as and when required.</li><li>Review completion/turnover deliverables issued by EPC Contractor.</li><li>Verify mechanical completion certificates requirements for various systems and subsystems.</li><li>Participate in completion and commissioning meetings and other related meetings.</li><li>Verify the readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificates issuance.</li><li>Establish punch management strategy and acceptance criteria and monitor the Punch List close-out activities prior to system acceptance.</li><li>To ensure completion and handover methodology is proceeding in compliance with related contractual documents.</li></ul><br><ul><li><b>Planning and Execution:</b></li></ul><ul><li>To ensure Project Completion Management System Database populations are reliable for project tracking and monitoring prior to completion acceptance.</li><li>To ensure the implementation of completion deliverables is progressing as per commissioning sequence plan and project schedule.</li><li>Ensure all installations are complete and compliant with project requirements.</li><li>Lead system walkdowns and final acceptance inspections </li><li>Support Sr. Commissioning manager to ensure completion milestone is meeting the Contractual requirements.</li><li>Monitor overall completion status, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies </li><li>Report completion progress, key issues, and readiness status to senior management </li></ul><br><br><ul><li><b>HSE &Quality Assurance:</b></li></ul><ul><li>Onshore Completion Lead is responsible for the assurance of EPC Contractor Complying with Company HSE regulations, during construction, quality and commissioning activities.</li><li>Provide support and advice for SR. A Construction Manager – Civil is responsible for managing all civil construction activities in an electrical substation project (e.g., 33k V, 132k V, 220k V, or higher). The role ensures that civil works such as foundations, structures, roads, and drainage are completed safely, according to design, within schedule, and within budget.<br><br>Review civil drawings, specifications, and construction scope for the substation. Develop and monitor construction schedules for civil works. Coordinate civil activities with electrical and mechanical installation teams. Plan sequencing for:Earthworks Foundations Equipment structures Buildings and infrastructure. Manage site clearing, excavation, grading, and leveling. Supervise cut and fill operations to achieve required platform levels. Ensure proper soil compaction and ground improvement. Coordinate geotechnical requirements based on soil investigation reports.<br>Foundations for Electrical Equipment<br><br>Supervise construction of foundations for major substation equipment such as:<br><br>Power transformer foundations Circuit breaker foundations Gantry structures Bus support structures CT/VT and isolator foundations<br><br>Ensure foundations meet load requirements, anchor bolt positioning, and tolerances.<br><br>Substation Buildings & Structures<br><br>Oversee Construction Of<br><br>Control building Relay room GIS building (if applicable) Security buildings and guard houses Cable cellars and trenches<br><br>Ensure buildings comply with structural and architectural specifications.<br><br>Cable Trenches & Duct Banks<br><br>Supervise construction of cable trenches, cable ducts, and cable vaults. Ensure proper routing and spacing for electrical cables. Coordinate trench construction with electrical installation teams.<br><br>Drainage & Stormwater Management<br><br>Ensure installation of substation drainage systems. Supervise construction of:Oil containment pits for transformers Stormwater drains Water collection systems. Ensure proper slope and water flow away from equipment areas.<br>Roads, Fencing & External Works<br><br>Manage Construction Of<br><br>Internal access roads and pavements Equipment access routes for heavy transport Boundary walls and security fencing Gates and site entrances.
