The role designs, develops and deploys production AI solutions for UXE, concentrating on computer vision, video analytics and edge AI, while also supporting Arabic/English agentic AI initiatives. Hands-on role covering solution architecture, model development, optimization and integration across UXE's AI projects. Work with software, Dev Ops, infrastructure and business teams from PoC through deployment. Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities • Design and evaluate detection, tracking, segmentation, classification and video-analytics solutions.• Build low-latency multi-camera pipelines for NVIDIA Jetson and GPU platforms.• Optimize models using ONNX, Tensor RT, CUDA, Deep Stream or GStreamer and measure accuracy, precision and recall, false alarms, throughput and latency.• Integrate AI with APIs, databases, VMS, cameras and backend systems; implement monitoring, resilience and rollback so deployed systems are robust, scalable and maintainable.• Develop and evaluate Arabic/English RAG, LLM and agentic workflows with guardrails and human review.• Work with cross-functional teams to capture project requirements and deliver AI solutions that meet business needs.• Lead technical design, code/model reviews, documentation, mentoring, customer workshops and production troubleshooting.• Track advances in AI, machine learning and computer vision; conduct research and internal PoCs that contribute to the continuous improvement of UXE's AI capabilities. Where required be able to deliver proposals for the EPC works. The candidate is to be proficient in STAAD, Wallap, Autocad, and other software relevant to the role. The Candidate needs to be a clear communicator with the ability to lead meetings effectively. Key Responsibilities/Duties: Senior Engineer – Temporary Works / Construction Engineering (In-House) DBB Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our Dubai Head Office Engineering Department. The role will primarily focus on the engineering, coordination, and verification of temporary works required to safely deliver civil and marine construction projects, while also providing occasional support to permanent works engineering activities. The position plays a key role in protecting operational safety, supporting project delivery teams, and ensuring that engineering solutions are constructible, efficient, and compliant with relevant codes, contractual obligations, and authority requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, external consultants, and internal engineering staff to develop and manage engineering solutions aligned with the company’s engineering principles and procedures. Key Responsibilities Develop and check temporary works designs supporting construction methodologies. Produce Design reports and drawings (supported by CAD resources) fro review internally and externally submitted to Clients Engineer Represent DBB in the face of local authority as and when required Provide engineering input during tender development and method statement preparation. Coordinate temporary works design reviews, risk assessments, and constructability checks. Manage temporary works registers, design documentation, and approvals. <h2 class="h5">وصف الوظيفة</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> الغرض من الوظيفة قيادة موثوقية الأنظمة والتوافر والأداء والتحسين المستمر لتطبيقات Air Arabia المعتمدة على جافا و أنظمة حجز الطيران الحرجة من الناحية التشغيلية من خلال تطبيق أفضل ممارسات Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). مسؤول عن قيادة التميز التشغيلي من خلال الرصد الاستباقي، الأتمتة، إدارة الحوادث، تحسينات القابلية للتوسع، والتعاون مع فرق وظيفية متعددة، مع ضمان الالتزام بسياسات المؤسسة والمعايير الصناعية والمتطلبات التنظيمية المعمول بها. المسؤوليات الأساسية عن النتائج <ul><li>قيادة مبادرات SRE للخدمات المصغرة المعتمدة على جافا والتطبيقات الأحادية التي تدعم عمليات الخطوط الجوية الحرجة ونُظم خدمة الركاب (PSS).</li><li>إنشاء ومراقبة وتحسين موثوقية النظام باستمرار من خلال تعريف وإدارة اتفاقيات مستوى الخدمة (SLAs) وموارد هدف مستوى الخدمة (SLOs) وميزانيات الأخطاء.</li><li>قيادة وتسهيل تحليل السبب الجذري (RCA) للحوادث الإنتاجية المعقدة، وضمان الحلول في الوقت المناسب وتنفيذ إجراءات وقائية لتقليل التكرار.</li><li>دفع التحسينات المعمارية لتحسين أداء النظام وقابليته للتوسع والمرونة والتوافر والكفاءة التشغيلية من خلال تقنيات التحسين مثل التخزين المؤقت وتصميم الأنظمة الموزعة.</li><li>توجيه وتقديم الإرشاد الفني لأعضاء الفريق من خلال تعزيز أفضل الممارسات في إدارة الحوادث والدعم الإنتاجي واستكشاف الأخطاء وتحقيق التميز التشغيلي.</li><li>التعاون عن كثب مع هندسة البرمجيات والبنية التحتية والفرق العابرة للوظائف لتعزيز تصميم التطبيق وتحسين موثوقية النظام وضمان جاهزيته للإنتاج.</li><li>تملك وتحديد معايير سلسلة CI/CD، وممارسات GitOps، واستراتيجية أتمتة البنى التحتية، وتحديد الإطار الذي ينفذه المهندسون عبر الفريق.</li><li>تحديد استراتيجية الحاويات والتنسيق (Docker و Kubernetes) للفريق، وضع معايير للقدرة على التوسع والمرونة وتوافر عالي يطبقها مهندسون آخرون.</li><li>تملك إطار تصعيد على-call، وضمان تغطية كافية ومسارات تصعيد واضحة، وقيادة المراجعات بعد الحوادث.</li><li>تقييم أدوات وتقنيات جديدة لتعزيز الموثوقية وتمثيل SRE في تخطيط السعة ومراجعات جاهزية الإطلاق.</li><li>تملك تقارير الموثوقية للإدارة، وتحويل أداء SLA/SLO واتجاهات الحوادث إلى تحديثات تجارية واضحة.</li></ul> المؤهلات (الأكاديمية، التدريب، اللغات) <ul><li>درجة البكالوريوس في هندسة الحاسوب/علوم الحاسوب/تكنولوجيا المعلومات.</li><li>إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية.</li><li>خبرة قوية في جافا، وSpring Boot، واستكشاف مشكلات الإنتاج المعقدة ضمن بيئات المؤسسات.</li><li>يفضل وجود خبرة في صناعة الطيران/السفر مع أنظمة خدمة الركاب (PSS).</li><li>الإلمام ببرامج MS Office.</li><li>معرفة قوية بـ SQL مع خبرة في تصميم قواعد البيانات والتحسين وضبط الأداء؛ الخبرة في Oracle Database ميزة.</li><li>فهم راسخ للأنظمة الموزعة وعمارة النظام وقابلية التوسع والمرونة والتصميم التطبيقي عالي التوفر.</li><li>إتقان أدوات الرصد والتسجيل والمرئية مثل Prometheus وGrafana وElasticsearch أو Datadog، المستخدمين للكشف الاستباقي عن الحوادث واستراتيجية الموثوقية.</li></ul> الخبرة العملية <ul><li>بخبرة 6-8 سنوات في هندسة البرمجيات، SRE، أو دعم الإنتاج (تطبيقات جافا).</li><li>خبرة عملية في تصميم وتطوير ودعم كل من الخدمات المصغرة والهياكل التطبيقية الأحادية.</li><li>خبرة عملية قوية مع Docker وKubernetes للحاوية والتنسيق ونشر الإنتاج (إلزامية).</li><li>الخبرة في JBoss Application Server أو خوادم تطبيقات Java المؤسساتية المماثلة ميزة إضافية.</li><li>خبرة مثبتة في تصميم وحوكمة معايير CI/CD وممارسات GitOps وتدفقات Git عبر فرق متعددة.</li><li>خبرة عملية في تقنيات التخزين المؤقت (مثل Redis) ومنصات الرسائل لتحسين أداء التطبيق وموثوقيته.</li></ul>

<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> Job Purpose To lead the reliability, availability, performance, and continuous improvement of Air Arabia's mission-critical Java-based applications and airline reservation systems by implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices. Responsible for driving operational excellence through proactive monitoring, automation, incident management, scalability improvements, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, while ensuring compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Key Result Responsibilities <ul><li>Lead Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives for Java-based microservices and monolithic applications supporting mission-critical airline operations and Passenger Service Systems (PSS).</li><li>Establish, monitor, and continuously improve system reliability by defining and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and error budgets.</li><li>Lead and facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) for complex production incidents, ensuring timely resolution and implementation of preventive measures to minimize recurrence.</li><li>Drive architectural enhancements to improve system performance, scalability, resilience, availability, and operational efficiency through optimization techniques such as caching and distributed system design.</li><li>Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members by promoting best practices in incident management, production support, troubleshooting, and operational excellence.</li><li>Collaborate closely with software engineering, infrastructure, and cross-functional teams to enhance application design, improve system reliability, and ensure production readiness.</li><li>Own and define CI/CD pipeline standards, GitOps practices, and infrastructure automation strategy, setting the framework that engineers across the team execute against.</li><li>Set the containerization and orchestration strategy (Docker, Kubernetes) for the team, defining standards for scalability, resilience, and high availability that other engineers implement.</li><li>Own the on-call escalation framework, ensuring adequate coverage and clear escalation paths, and lead post-incident reviews.</li><li>Evaluate new tools and technologies to strengthen reliability and represent SRE in capacity planning and release readiness reviews.</li><li>Own reliability reporting to management, translating SLA/SLO performance and incident trends into clear business updates.</li></ul> Qualifications (Academic, training, languages) <ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information Technology. </li><li>Fluent in English Language.</li><li>Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and troubleshooting complex production issues within enterprise environments.</li><li>Airline, aviation, or travel industry experience, particularly with Passenger Service Systems (PSS), is preferred. </li><li>Proficiency in MS Office.</li><li>Strong knowledge of SQL with experience in database design, optimization, and performance tuning; experience with Oracle Database is an advantage.</li><li>Solid understanding of distributed systems, system architecture, scalability, high availability, and resilient application design.</li><li>Proficiency in monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, or Datadog, used to drive proactive incident detection and reliability strategy.</li></ul> Work Experience <ul><li>With 6-8 years of experience in Software Engineering, SRE, or Production Support (Java Applications).</li><li>Hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting both microservices and monolithic application architectures.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization, orchestration, and production deployment (mandatory).</li><li>Experience with JBoss Application Server or similar enterprise Java application servers is an added advantage.</li><li>Proven experience designing and governing CI/CD pipeline standards, GitOps practices, and Git-based workflows across multiple teams.</li><li>Hands-on experience with caching technologies (e.g., Redis) and messaging platforms to improve application performance and reliability.</li></ul> </div>

• Review and assess shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for civil and architectural works. • Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved IFC drawings, project specifications, and UAE authority regulations. • Review and respond to RFIs and Technical Queries (TQs), and assist in resolving design and construction issues. • Prepare technical reports, inspection reports, review logs, NCR/SOR logs, and weekly progress updates. • Maintain accurate technical documentation and track outstanding technical and quality-related items. • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery. • Support weekly technical coordination meetings and conduct regular site inspections across Abu Dhabi and Dubai. • Identify quality concerns, technical risks, and non-compliance issues, and escalate them to the Technical Manager.• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline. • Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in technical review, QA/QC, or site engineering with a contractor, consultant, or developer. • Strong knowledge of civil and architectural construction methods, finishing works, waterproofing, blockwork, and inspection procedures. • Experience reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and Technical Queries. • Good understanding of UAE building codes and authority requirements (ADM, ADCD, DM/DDA, Estidama). • Valid UAE driving license and own vehicle, with willingness to travel regularly between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
