<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic civil and construction team in Ajman, UAE. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, ensuring value for money while maintaining high quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
- Conduct cost estimates and feasibility studies to support project planning and budgeting.
- Monitor and control project costs from inception to completion, providing regular financial reports.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes and negotiate rates to achieve cost savings.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure accurate cost assessments.
- Manage change orders, variations, and claims to minimize financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, contracts, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.</p><p>- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the civil and construction industry, preferably in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal frameworks.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as CostX, Bluebeam, or similar estimating tools.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of local UAE construction regulations and market dynamics is preferred.</p>
