The role ensures that offshore platforms, topsides, foundations, pipe racks, modules, and supporting structures are designed and executed in compliance with project specifications, international codes, safety requirements, and operational objectives.</b></p><br><br><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><br><br><p><b>Engineering &amp; Design</b></p><br><br><ul><li><b>Lead civil and structural engineering activities throughout FEED, detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning phases.</b></li><li><b>Perform structural analysis and design for: </b><ul><li><b>Offshore platforms and jackets</b></li><li><b>Topside structures</b></li><li><b>Water injection modules</b></li><li><b>Pipe supports and pipe racks</b></li><li><b>Equipment foundations</b></li><li><b>Access structures, helidecks, and crane foundations</b></li></ul></li><li><b>Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and material requisitions.</b></li><li><b>Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as API, AISC, ISO, DNV, Eurocodes, and company specifications.</b></li></ul><p><b>Offshore Facilities &amp; Water Injection Systems</b></p><br><br><ul><li><b>Evaluate structural impacts of water injection facilities, pumps, pressure vessels, pipelines, and associated equipment.</b></li><li><b>Verify structural adequacy for static, dynamic, fatigue, seismic, transportation, lifting, and installation loads.</b></li><li><b>Assess brownfield modifications and tie-ins to existing offshore assets.</b></li><li><b>Support platform upgrades and life-extension studies.</b></li></ul><p><b>Project Execution</b></p><br><br><ul><li><b>Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including process, mechanical, piping, marine, construction, and installation engineers.</b></li><li><b>Participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, constructability reviews, and risk assessments.</b></li><li><b>Support procurement activities and technical bid evaluations.</b></li><li><b>Monitor engineering progress and resolve technical issues during project execution.</b></li></ul><p><b>Construction &amp; Installation Support</b></p><br><br><ul><li><b>Review fabrication and installation methodologies.</b></li><li><b>Support offshore surveys, inspections, structural assessments, and site engineering activities.</b></li><li><b>Provide technical clarifications during fabrication and offshore construction.</b></li><li><b>Participate in commissioning and project handover activities.</b></li></ul><p><b>Integrity &amp; Compliance</b></p><br><br><ul><li><b>Conduct structural integrity assessments and fitness-for-service evaluations.</b></li><li><b>Ensure adherence to safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.</b></li><li><b>Support corrosion mitigation and structural inspection programs.</b></li><li><b>Review non-conformances and propose corrective actions.</b></li></ul><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><br><br><ul><li><b>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.</b></li><li><b>Master's Degree is advantageous.</b></li><li><b>Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), or equivalent certification preferred.</b></li></ul><p><b>Experience</b></p><br><br><ul><li><b>Typically 15-18+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering.</b></li><li><b>Significant experience in offshore oil &amp; gas, water injection, brownfield modifications, or offshore platform projects.</b></li><li><b>Experience with FEED, EPC, and offshore construction phases.</b></li><li><b>Proven experience working on offshore assets in the Middle East is highly desirable.</b></li></ul><p><b>Technical Skills</b></p><br><br><ul><li><b>Structural analysis software: </b><ul><li><b>SACS</b></li><li><b>STAAD.Pro</b></li><li><b>SESAM</b></li><li><b>GTSTRUDL</b></li><li><b>SAP2000</b></li></ul></li><li><b>Knowledge of: </b><ul><li><b>API RP 2A</b></li><li><b>DNV offshore standards</b></li><li><b>AISC steel design codes</b></li><li><b>ISO offshore structural requirements</b></li></ul></li><li><b>Familiarity with offshore installation, loadout, transportation, and lifting analyses</b></li></ul><br><br><br> </div>
