The Role We are seeking an experienced Ticketing Specialist / Tour Reservation Lead to manage flight and travel bookings, tour reservations, ticketing activities, itinerary coordination, and customer requests. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, commercially aware, and comfortable handling multiple reservations, schedule changes, payment details, and time-sensitive travel arrangements. Key Responsibilities Manage flight, hotel, tour, transportation, activity, and travel-package reservations. Process new bookings, amendments, cancellations, rebookings, refunds, and ticket changes accurately. Review customer requirements and recommend suitable approved travel options and tour packages. Prepare and issue tickets, booking confirmations, vouchers, itineraries, invoices, and travel documentation. Coordinate with airlines, hotels, tour operators, destination-management companies, transport providers, and other travel partners. Monitor reservation status, ticketing deadlines, payment deadlines, availability, and booking confirmations. Follow up on pending reservations, waitlists, unpaid bookings, schedule changes, and supplier confirmations. Handle customer inquiries regarding destinations, itineraries, ticket conditions, booking policies, and travel arrangements. Provide clear information regarding fares, cancellation policies, amendment rules, baggage allowances, and other applicable booking conditions. Assist customers with itinerary changes, flight disruptions, cancellations, delays, and alternative travel arrangements. Maintain accurate customer profiles, booking records, payment information, and travel documentation. Verify passenger names, dates, destinations, ticket details, and other booking information before final issuance. Coordinate group bookings, corporate travel arrangements, tours, excursions, and special travel requirements where applicable. Support sales teams with quotations, travel packages, itinerary proposals, and booking-related information. Identify opportunities for upgrades, additional services, tour packages, transfers, activities, and other approved travel products. Maintain strong relationships with travel suppliers, partners, and corporate clients. Track booking revenue, sales activity, cancellations, refunds, and other reservation-related performance indicators. Prepare reservation, ticketing, sales, customer-service, and operational reports for management. Monitor booking errors and identify opportunities to improve reservation workflows and customer experience. Support the training and daily coordination of junior reservation or ticketing staff. Assist with quality checks to ensure bookings comply with company procedures and supplier requirements. Maintain strict confidentiality of customer identity, passport information, payment details, and travel records. Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate complex cases when required. Ensure all booking and ticketing activities comply with company policies, supplier terms, data-protection requirements, and applicable UAE regulations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Tourism, Hospitality, Travel Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.3+ years of professional experience in travel reservations, airline ticketing, tour operations, travel agencies, or hospitality is preferred. Strong knowledge of reservation, ticketing, itinerary management, and tour-booking processes. Excellent spoken and written English communication skills. Additional languages such as Arabic, Hindi, French, Mandarin, or Russian are advantageous. Strong customer-service, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail when handling passenger information, booking details, fares, and travel documentation. Ability to manage multiple reservations and time-sensitive requests efficiently. Experience with GDS, airline reservation, hotel-booking, tour-management, or travel CRM systems is advantageous. Familiarity with Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Travelport, or similar systems is advantageous. Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and digital-platform skills. Knowledge of international travel procedures, fare rules, ticketing conditions, and booking policies is advantageous. UAE or GCC travel-industry experience is advantageous. Experience with corporate travel, leisure travel, group tours, destination management, or luxury travel is advantageous. IATA, travel-management, tourism, hospitality, or other relevant professional certifications are advantageous but not required.
