We are looking for a senior commercial leader who can help shape this next chapter.
Role Overview The Director - Sponsorship & Brand Partnerships will lead sponsorship sales and brand partnership development across Kotinos’ athlete portfolio, events, and company-led sports products.
This is a senior revenue-generating role for a proven commercial closer. The successful candidate will bring a strong personal network of brand, agency, and corporate decision-makers across Qatar, the wider GCC/MENA region, particularly KSA and UAE, and international markets. The Director will act as Kotinos’ senior commercial lead for sponsorship and brand partnerships. They will work closely with the internal team to refine sponsorship assets, shape compelling commercial propositions, approach the market, lead pitch conversations, negotiate terms, close deals, and help build a structured, repeatable sponsorship sales engine.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to do more than sell existing inventory. The role requires someone who can help build the commercial future of Kotinos: creating new opportunities, developing relationships with leading brands, supporting athletes and events, building the sponsorship function, and contributing to the wider growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Leadership & Revenue Generation Lead Kotinos’ sponsorship and brand partnership revenue across athletes, events, and company-led sports products. Translate reach, visibility, engagement, audience data, earned media value, and business outcomes into credible sponsor value. Use brand feedback, market insights, and performance data to improve future proposals, pricing, packaging, renewals, and upsell opportunities.
Pipeline, Reporting & Commercial Discipline Identify and pursue opportunities across sectors including banking, telecom, airlines, luxury, automotive, FMCG, technology, real estate, tourism, media, entertainment, & etc. Build and manage a structured sponsorship pipeline and CRM discipline across Kotinos. Ensure each opportunity has a clear stage, owner, next step, value, probability of closure, and follow-up date.
