<p><h4>As maintenance manager, you will manage the engineering team to efficiently maintain all hotel operations such that safety, security, conservation, and compliance are ensured at the highest levels.</h4>
<p><strong>What will I be doing?</strong><br>
As maintenance manager, you are responsible for the effective management of all engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel, including energy conservation. You are also responsible for the development of the engineering team and staying abreast of compliance regulations and procedures in the field of engineering, as required for hotel standards. Specifically, a chief engineer will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead the engineering team in the day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel, including service standards, equipment schedules, and work schedules</li>
<li>Communicate with housekeeping to coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities for guest rooms and public areas</li>
<li>Develop systems and procedures to ensure the health and safety of guests and team members, as well as the proper conditions for plants, machinery, and property</li>
<li>Communicate with government agencies to ensure full compliance with statutory regulations</li>
<li>Prepare capital and repairs and maintenance budgets for engineering</li>
<li>Perform daily checks around the hotel</li>
<li>Conduct lift emergency release procedures as required</li>

<p><h4>Job description</h4>
<p>A Duty Engineer is responsible for all maintenance issues within the hotel to deliver an excellent guest and member experience while performing daily checks, repairing equipment, and coordinating renovation projects.</p>
<h4>What will I be doing?</h4>
<p>The Duty Engineer is responsible for directly managing, supporting, and providing direction and leadership to the shift leaders and technicians. You will be responsible for managing your team as well as their financial performance while also taking part in client management and business development. Must possess a proven track record and excellent customer relation skills, be innovative, an excellent coach and mentor, capable presenter, and have strong financial and analytical skills.</p>
<p>Responsibilities include leadership and guidance to support the growth and development of other engineering staff members; provide high-level client maintenance to ensure existing and new clients that the quality of the services delivered are closely examined; and work with executive management, directors, team leaders, or engineering managers to develop and ensure standards are maintained, specifically in the areas of quality assurance and training. Must be able to support company revenue targets by leading or supporting existing projects as assigned and support company sales initiatives as requested by the Chief Engineer or Director of Engineering.</p>
