You will provide comprehensive medical care to newborns, infants, children and adolescents, covering preventive care, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management. You will work closely with nurses, allied health professionals and other specialists to deliver safe, high-quality, family-centred care.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br></strong><ul><li>Assess, diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions in children from birth to adolescence</li><li>Conduct well-child visits, growth and developmental monitoring, and routine health screenings</li><li>Administer and advise on childhood immunisation programmes in line with UAE guidelines</li><li>Manage common pediatric conditions such as respiratory, gastrointestinal, infectious and allergic illnesses</li><li>Identify developmental, behavioural and nutritional concerns and refer to specialists and therapists when needed</li><li>Provide emergency and urgent care within the scope of pediatric practice</li><li>Counsel and educate parents and caregivers on child health, nutrition and development</li><li>Maintain accurate, confidential medical records in line with UAE health regulations and data protection requirements</li><li>Follow DHA standards, infection control protocols and clinical governance guidelines</li><li>Take part in clinical audits, quality improvement and mentoring of junior staff</li></ul><p><br><strong>Requirements<br></strong></p><ul><li>Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) from a recognised institution</li><li>Postgraduate qualification or board certification in Pediatrics (MD/DNB/MRCPCH or equivalent)</li><li>A minimum of 3 years of post-specialty experience in pediatrics</li><li>A valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license as a Specialist Pediatrician, or eligibility to obtain one before starting</li><li>Strong diagnostic skills and experience managing newborns, children and adolescents</li><li>Excellent communication in English. Ensure compliance with relevant RTA EHS guidelines, project specifications, statutory requirements, and client HSE standards. Ensure adequate induction, training, competency assessment, and safety awareness for all personnel. Monitor the implementation of welfare, occupational health, PPE, and safe working practices. Environmental Management Ensure implementation of project environmental management plans and applicable environmental requirements. Monitor dust, noise, waste management, emissions, spill prevention, and pollution control measures. Ensure appropriate management of construction waste, hazardous materials, and environmental incidents. Coordinate environmental inspections and ensure closure of identified non-compliances. Ensure timely submission of EHS documentation and reports to the client, consultant, and internal management.<br><br>Mandatory Requirements<br><br>Minimum 15+ years of overall experience in EHS management within construction, infrastructure, roads, highways, or EPC projects. Mandatory prior experience in RTA projects in Dubai, with demonstrated understanding of RTA EHS requirements and project compliance processes. Relevant experience in managing EHS functions for large-scale road/highway construction or infrastructure EPC projects. Proven experience in client, consultant, and regulatory authority coordination. Strong knowledge of road construction safety, traffic management, excavation safety, heavy equipment operations, and high-risk construction activities. Experience in leading and managing a project-level EHS team.<br><br>Educational Qualification & Certifications<br><br>B. E./B. Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or other relevant Engineering discipline. Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety or an equivalent recognized EHS qualification. NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent recognized HSE certification preferred. NEBOSH International Diploma, professional safety certifications, or equivalent advanced qualifications will be an added advantage.
