Our comprehensive and tailored service offering covers each stage of the project life cycle and a variety of commercial models, giving our clients the flexibility, they need.<br><br>Primary Duties<br><br>Operates as a part of team of Engineers in the coordination of resources in order to ensure that the<br><br>construction meets all contractual requirements in the most effective and efficient manner.<br><br>Review all contract documentation to assess feasibility of construction, identify any potential areas of<br><br>difficulty and highlight any variations required in the construction.<br><br> Participate in the review of the project planning process and create a schedule, which is in line with the<br><br>project requirements including establishing the sequence and duration of activities.<br><br>Active<br><br> Generate TDR (Technical Document Register) as a level 4 schedule and ensure that all relevant data<br><br>required for construction is contained in it. Monitor the issue of drawings as per the forecast dates<br><br>mentioned in the TDR, identify any discrepancies and bring it to the attention of the Lead Engineer.<br><br>Take corrective actions wherever required in the case of missing data from either the client or vendor.<br><br> Review Engineering drawings, documents and deliverables relating to area of functional responsibility<br><br>to assess constructability and consistency with contract requirements. Prepare and issue purchase<br><br>requests for materials and consumables.<br><br> Prepare project specific and other procedures to ensure comprehensive cover of all project activities as<br><br>per the contract requirements.<br><br> Coordinate all project related activities with other departments and sections to ensure effective<br><br>integration of tasks and minimize potential delays.<br><br> Participate in the finalization of work to be outsourced to sub-contractors including bid evaluation and<br><br>terms of contract.<br><br> Monitor the progress of the project as per the project plan and against the client’s requirements and<br><br>take corrective action whenever required.<br><br> Ensure the availability of necessary resources for the smooth execution of the project. Update order progress periodically.<br><br> Effectually nurture and maintain professional and healthy relationship with suppliers, conduct and monitor<br><br>objective supplier performance appraisal.<br><br> Carry out a routine check for field expediting requirements at supplier’s shop and plan expediting visits<br><br>accordingly after consultation with the Project Manager, Solicit supplier to maintain an inspection plan,<br><br>liaise with QA/QC and coordinate inspection visits. Review flash report and follow up on approvals by<br><br>QA/QC. Review inspection release note issued by QA/QC and Issue shipping release Note (SRN) to<br><br>supplier and logistic team to trigger the shipping process. Expedite suppliers’ shipping documents, liaise<br><br>with the shipping department for plan and timely movement of goods prior to readiness of consignment.<br><br>And monitoring until obtaining Material Receipt Voucher (MRV) from material controller on site.<br><br> Investigate causes of Excess, Shortage, and Damage (ESD) of supplies. Coordinate with the supplier<br><br>and the procurement department to resolve ESDs and safeguard a genuine material receipt report.<br><br> Advise supplier on invoicing instructions, Review ,verify and administer supplier invoices for payment<br><br>against progress milestones.<br><br>Minimum Requirements<br><br>An engineering degree with a minimum of 10 years of project management experience in the oil and gas sector.<br><br>Additional Information
<p>• Ensure fabrication processes comply with relevant codes, specifications, and project requirement
• Prepare QC Procedures, Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and maintain QAQC documentations
• Prepare Visual Inspection Reports, Weld History Sheets, and other QC documents for piping fabrication.
• Perform or supervise incoming material inspection, Fit-up and dimensional inspections, welding inspection, and pressure testing
• Plan and schedule the NDT activities, verify NDT results, and ensure that defects are evaluated / repaired as per applicable codes
• Develop and qualify WPS/PQR in accordance with ASME Sec IX, AGES Specifications & AWS D1.1
• Ensure inspection, measuring, and test equipment (IMTE) are regularly calibrated and traceable to national standards
• Coordinate with Authorized Inspector (AI) and Client Inspector during hold and witness points for inspections
• Identify and report non-conformances during fabrication or inspection & follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support readiness for ASME and ISO Audits</p><p>Qualification required:
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a QA/QC role in ASME pressure vessels, piping and structural fabrication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• CSWIP 3.1 certificate is required
• Strong knowledge in ASME, API and AWS codes
• UAE Driving license(added advantage)
• BGAS Grade Level II (added advantage)
• Audit experience in ASME/ISO Audits (added advantage)</p>
