Role Summary The Compliance Manager will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization’s compliance framework in line with applicable UAE laws, regulatory requirements and internal policies. The role will provide independent compliance oversight, monitor regulatory obligations, identify and assess compliance risks, and advise management and business teams on regulatory matters. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain and implement the organization’s Compliance Framework, policies, procedures and controls in line with applicable UAE regulatory requirements. Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organization, ensuring timely implementation of relevant changes. Conduct periodic compliance monitoring and testing, identify control gaps and track remediation actions. Provide compliance advice and guidance to senior management and business teams on regulatory requirements and business activities. Support the development and enhancement of the organization’s financial crime and regulatory compliance framework. Ensure timely and accurate completion of applicable regulatory reporting, notifications and filings. Identify, investigate and escalate compliance breaches, incidents and control deficiencies, and oversee remediation through to closure. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, Accounting, Risk, Compliance or a related discipline.8+ years of relevant compliance experience within financial services, capital markets, investment firms, brokerage, asset management or a similarly regulated environment. Strong understanding of UAE financial services regulatory requirements and experience working with one or more applicable UAE regulators. Good knowledge of AML/CFT, KYC, sanctions, market conduct, conflicts of interest and regulatory compliance frameworks. Experience in compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, policy development, risk assessment and remediation. Strong understanding of capital markets products and activities would be advantageous.
