<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><ul><li><p>Lead and manage electrical, instrumentation and Telecom section of the projects from start to c</p><p>ompletion and handover. </p></li><li><p>Act as a primary point of contact with clients, providing technical expertise, addressing client concerns, and ensuring that project goals are met. </p></li><li><p> Carry out detailed design of Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecom Systems for various projects.</p></li><li><p> Provide technical guidance and expertise to junior engineers and designers, mentoring them in design, general engineering principles and current industrial practices.</p></li><li><p> Develop and review detailed designs, plans, calculations, etc. as necessary for each project. </p></li><li><p> Review and prepare engineering deliverables list for projects in accordance with the scope of contract and ensure that all documentation is issued in accordance with the agreed project schedule. </p></li><li><p> Preparation of engineering calculations such as Cable Sizing Calculations / Voltage Drop Calculations / Cable Tray Sizing Calculations / Short Circuit Calculations / Lighting Design Calculations / Load Calculations etc. required for each project.</p></li><li><p> Work with the designers for preparation of Fire & Gas and Fire Suppression System Layouts / Schematics etc. </p></li><li><p> Design and Selection of Fire & Gas Detection / Suppression systems for modular buildings as per Project Requirements and relevant international codes and standards. </p></li><li><p> Preparation of Site Survey Reports, Installation Method Statement, Design Basis Documents etc. as necessary for each project. </p></li><li><p> Develop engineering designs in accordance with the project scope and provide inputs to drafting team for preparation of drawings such as EIT equipment layouts drawings, Lighting Layouts, small power Layouts, Cable Tray Layouts etc. as per the project’s deliverables list. </p></li><li><p> Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including design changes, correspondence, and project records.</p></li><li><p>Review drawing outputs. This includes conformance of the output with the conceptual project requirements and the technical detail with their discipline.</p></li><li><p> Review and verification of constructability of designs and maintainability of installations. </p></li><li><p> Coordinate with other discipline engineers’ part of the project to ensure that EIT designs integrate seamlessly into the overall project without any interdisciplinary clashes. </p></li><li><p> Review and optimize engineering designs to minimize material usage, reduce construction costs, and improve sustainability and profitability. </p></li><li><p> Preparation of material requisitions related to Electrical / Instrumentation and Telecom discipline. </p></li><li><p> Working with the procurement team for the Technical and commercial evaluation of materials being procured for various projects and ensuring that the materials procured are in line with the project requirement. </p></li><li><p> Manage project budgets in material selections and procurement.</p></li><li><p> Conduct site/Fabrication yard visits, to ensure that the systems are installed according to design specifications and approved construction drawings. </p></li><li><p> Review and identify potential risks and hazards related to design and construction of electrical and Instrumentation and develop mitigation strategies where required.</p></li><li><p> Organize, conduct, and attend technical clarification/evaluation and progress review meetings with Client / Third party Design Consultants, project management and fabrication team on a regular basis for the smooth progress of the project and flawless transfer of relevant engineering information/instructions. </p></li><li><p> Prioritize safety in all aspects of electrical and instrumentation work. <li>Assist his/her captain or head waiter during the service by staying constantly at his/her disposal.</li>
<li>Contribute constantly to active promotions of in-house sales by optimal knowledge of all services provided by the hotel. Knowledge of the opening hours and promotions of all F&B outlets is seen as rudiment.</li>
<li>Be acquainted with the suggestions of the day before starting the shift.</li>
<li>Clean all trolleys and pedestal tables.</li>
<li>Be responsible for the polish and mise en place of all cutleries.</li>
<li>Be in charge of filling the sugar dispensers, mustard pots, toothpicks, and oil & vinegar recipients.</li>
<li>Be in charge of supplying the restaurant with all linen.</li>
<li>Follow the daily cleaning plan.</li>
<li>Respect the closure plan of the restaurant.</li>
<li>Provide an overall high level of food and beverage service to guests and ensure that guest satisfaction is met.</li>
<li>Know and understand policies relating to food & beverage and others.</li>
<li>Recognize good quality products and presentation.</li>
<li>Check and improve all service standards established by the company.</li>
<li>Provide assistance to the staff when required during peak periods.</li>
<li>Manage wastes by reducing and recycling, changing staff behaviour to carefully use all resources.</li>

We are seeking a proactive QHSE Officer to strengthen our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across fleet and office operations. The role ensures compliance with ISM, ISPS, and ISO requirements, drives continuous improvement, and supports safe, efficient vessel operations.
This position is ideal for candidates with strong maritime safety knowledge, audit experience, and a passion for embedding a culture of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor day to day vessel operations to ensure smooth activities at sea and port without delays or accidents.
• Ensure certifications (ISM/ISPS/ISO) remain valid and compliant.
• Oversee reporting requirements, documentation, and drill records under ISM, ISPS, and SMS.
• Plan and conduct internal audits, safety inspections, and management reviews.
• Brief senior officers on SMS, company policies, and charterer requirements before deployment.
• Investigate incidents and participate in Board of Investigation and Emergency Response Teams.
• Liaise with authorities, charterers, and external stakeholders on QHSE matters.
• Maintain and update SMS documentation, ensuring revision control and compliance with retention policies.
• Promote STOP card programs, PPE monitoring, and vessel HSE statistics reporting.
• Support offshore safety representatives and attend shore side safety committee meetings.</p><p>• NEBOSH Certification / IOSH Graduate / OHS Diploma or equivalent experience.
