Job Summary<br><br>NAFFCO is seeking a qualified and experienced Application Engineer – Oil & Gas to support the preparation of techno-commercial proposals for pump packages and firefighting systems within the Oil & Gas sector. Company Description<br><p>Archirodon, having earned its reputation as a reliable and respected international contractor for more than a half century in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) market, continues to create value to its stakeholders by executing complex EPC projects worldwide, in recognition of its superior standards of performance.</p><br><p><em>We have an outstanding record in completing major Energy (Oil & Gas – Power and Water), Marine, Infrastructure and Defense & Security projects around the globe and we pride ourselves on delivering over the years the kind of reliability and trust that the client has the right to expect from a major EPC contractor.</em></p><br><p><strong>Archirodon has been awarded a major Oil & Gas EPC project in UAE, and is currently building a team of experienced Commissioning Engineer, who will be based in our site Office.</strong></p><br><br>Job Description<br><ul><li>Prepare and develop <strong>piping drawings</strong> including layout drawings, piping plans, isometric drawings, and as-built drawings.</li><li>Convert engineering sketches, redline markups, and design changes into detailed <strong>CAD drawings</strong>.</li><li>Update drawings based on site conditions, engineering revisions, and client comments.</li><li>Ensure all drawings comply with <strong>ADNOC standards</strong>, project specifications, and applicable international codes.</li><li>Coordinate with piping engineers, technical office engineers, construction teams, and document control for drawing accuracy and issuance.</li><li>Maintain proper <strong>drawing register, revision control, and document tracking system</strong>.</li><li>Assist in preparation of <strong>as-built drawings and project handover documentation</strong>.</li><li>Support preparation of piping drawing packages for construction and fabrication.</li><li>Incorporate site modifications and ensure timely revision of drawings to support site activities.</li><li>Ensure proper filing, storage, and retrieval of piping drawings and technical documents.</li><li>Participate in coordination meetings when required to resolve drawing-related issues.</li></ul><br>Qualifications<br><ul><li>Diploma in <strong>Mechanical Engineering / Piping / Drafting / Design Technology</strong> or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum <strong>5+ years</strong> of experience as a Piping Draftsman in Oil & Gas or EPC projects.</li><li>Experience working on <strong>ADNOC or GCC Oil & Gas projects</strong> is preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of <strong>piping systems, layout design, and fabrication drawings</strong>.</li><li>Ability to interpret <strong>P&IDs, isometric drawings, piping plans, and GA drawings</strong>.</li><li>Familiarity with piping materials, supports, valves, and installation practices.</li></ul><br>Additional Information<br><ul><li>Proficiency in <strong>AutoCAD (mandatory)</strong>.</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>AutoCAD Plant 3D, Navisworks, or equivalent 3D tools</strong> is an advantage.</li><li>Strong understanding of piping layouts, isometrics, and construction drawings.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and specifications.</li><li>Knowledge of Oil & Gas piping construction practices.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and drawing accuracy.</li></ul><br><br> </div>
