Job Description<br><br>Aldar Education are currently seeking an outstanding UAE National Inclusion Assistant for Al Rayana Charter School in Abu Dhabi for an immediate start.<br><br>Al Rayana Charter School is an American curriculum, mixed gender primary school located in a state of the art building in the heart of Abu Dhabi. This vision is supported by the Al Rayana Learner and Teacher DNA which is at the heart of the school community.<br><br>Responsibilities<br><br>Main Duties<br><br>Provide support for individual pupils, within a group context or individually, both inside and outside of the classroom to enable them to fully participate in a range of activities during the school day. Be proactive in matters relating to health and safety. Assist in the implementation of individual education programmes for individual pupils, link to the student’s IEP goals and contribute to the monitoring of their progress and attainment. Support the individual pupil/s in relation to their additional support needs e.g., academic, physical, emotional, and behavioural difficulties and help develop their social and communication skills. Assist home room and subject teachers with maintaining pupil records. Prepare necessary resources to assist the identified student to access or differentiate the curriculum in order to support learning. Promote independence, by teaching clear and meaningful strategies to the student. Support the aims of the school, comply with the requirements of health and safety, code of conduct and other relevant legislation and school policies. Set a good example in terms of dress, punctuality, and attendance. Attend training sessions and professionals’ meetings as required. Work with other professionals e.g. speech therapists, occupational therapists etc, as needed. Build a close working relationship with home room and subject teachers and communicate regularly and openly. Understand other duties from time to time as the principal / Head of Inclusion require<br><br><br>Specific Duties<br><br>Adhere to guidelines of confidentiality – respecting that the Head of Inclusion, Home room and subject teachers are responsible for formal communications with parents. Academic assistance Giving individual instruction as prescribed by the teacher / providing group instruction where appropriate Demonstrating various instructional activities Monitoring work assigned by the teacher – checking and correcting individual students work in line with school policy, while in progress. Keeping individual pupil and peers on task Praising and reinforcing the achievements of pupils/reporting pupil progress to the teacher Prepare materials for the individual as needed, to scaffold their classroom learning. Supervising individual pupil/s in the classroom, specialist lessons and other locations Participating in development of behaviour policy / promoting pupils self-esteem and discipline misbehaviour in line with whole school policy Attend and subsequently deliver intervention for SaLT / OT / ABA therapy to help generalise and consolidate target skills, maximising the impact of therapy. Attend ECA/trips and visits. <ol><li><p>يحضر عينات الأنسجة للتحليل المجهري الروتيني.</p></li><li><p>تُسجل أوصاف تشريحية عامة للعينات الصغيرة وغير المعقدة حيثما كان ذلك مناسبًا، باستخدام مصطلحات محددة وفق الإجراء.</p></li><li><p>يتم تحضير عينات الأنسجة باستخدام الإجراءات الصحيحة للحفظ بما في ذلك المعالجة والتجميد والتغمّيس وفقًا للإجراء.</p></li><li><p>يتم تقطيع عينات الأنسجة باستخدام تقنيات مقطعية جيدة على مايكروتومات لإنتاج شرائح ذات جودة مقبولة للصباغة وفق الإجراءات.</p></li><li><p>يتم ترتيب الأولويات في عبء العمل وإدارته لتحقيق أوقات التحول المتوقع TATs.</p></li><li><p>يُحافظ على الكفاءة وتضاف مهارات جديدة مع تغيّر التكنولوجيا.</p></li><li><p>يصبغ الأنسجة للصيغ الروتينية، والصبغات الخاصة، والتألق المناعي، والمواد الكيميائية المناعية والكيمياء الإنزيمية كما هو مطلوب.</p></li><li><p>تُجهز المحاليل الكيميائية والصبغات وتُعلَّم وتُخزّن بدقة وفقاً للإجراء والاحتياج.</p></li><li><p>تُجرى الصبغة بدقة وتُسجل نتائج مراقبة الجودة QC. وتُقيَّم جودة الصبغة لقبول الشرائح الهستولوجية قبل إطلاقها إلى طبيب طلب الشرائح.</p></li><li><p>تُبلَّغ نتائج جودة الصبغة إلى المشرف و/أو طبيب الطلب.</p></li><li><p>تُطوَّر صبغات جديدة وتُطبق حسب الحاجة بالتعاون مع المشرف وموظفي علم الأمراض والفنيين الآخرين.</p></li><li><p>يُحافظ على تشغيل معدات المختبر وفق توصيات المُصنّع والإجراءات.</p></li><li><p>يتم تشغيل الأجهزة اللازمة لوظائف علم الأنسجة ضمن إرشادات الشركة المصنِّعة وبناءً على الإجراءات.</p></li><li><p>يُعترف بمشاكل الأجهزة ويُجرى استكشاف الأخطاء وإصلاحها لضمان تشغيل دقيق. تُجرى صيانة الأجهزة وتُوثَّق وفق جدول مُحدد.</p></li><li><p>الامتثال لجميع سياسات وأنظمة السلامة والصحة المهنية والوقاية من العدوى والتعاون مع إدارة المستشفى للامتثال لتلك المتطلبات.</p></li><li><p>العمل وفق الإجراءات والتعليمات الموثقة للسلامة والصحة المهنية والمسؤوليات المحددة.</p></li><li><p>الإلمام بإجراءات الإخلاء والطوارئ.</p></li><li><p>الإبلاغ عن مخاطر السلامة والصحة المهنية والحوادث والقراءات القريبة والمشاكل والمساعدة في إعداد تقييمات المخاطر وتقارير الحوادث.</p></li><li><p>الالتزام بإجراءات وسياسات إدارة النفايات.</p></li><li><p>الحضور في برامج التدريب المتعلقة بالصحة والسلامة ومكافحة العدوى والتدريبات التمهيدية وبرامج التوعية.</p></li><li><p>استخدام معدات الوقاية الشخصية ونظام السلامة المناسب.</p></li></ol><p>المسؤوليات العامة</p><ol><li><p>العمل في جميع الورديات وفقاً للجدول المقرر من قبل رئيس القسم أو رئيس قسم علم الأنسجة.</p></li><li><p>الالتزام الصارم بأنظمة وسياسات المنظمة خاصة المتعلقة بمكافحة العدوى وسلامة المريض وOSHAD وDOH وDHA وMOH وJCI وISO.</p></li><li><p>يدعم التحسين المستمر وضمان الجودة ويشارك ويساهم في جميع أنشطة ضمان الجودة للخدمة.</p></li><li><p>يشارك ويساهم في برامج التدريب المطلوبة وفق الجدول.</p></li><li><p>يمتلك مهارات تواصل فعالة في التعامل مع موظفي القسم والمت عام والت إدارة.</p></li><li><p>يحافظ على السرية وفقاً للاتفاق الموقَّع.</p></li><li><p>يُظهر القدرة على الاستماع للآخرين لتعزيز التواصل الفعّال.</p></li><li><p>يطور فهمًا شاملاً لسياسات وإجراءات المستشفى ويظهر الاحترام لها.</p></li><li><p>يقوم بواجبات أخرى عند طلب رئيس قسم علم الأنسجة.</p></li></ol><p><strong>المرشح المثالي</strong></p><ol><li><p>رخصة DOH أو DHA سارية كفني مختبر مع خبرة في علم الأنسجة.</p></li><li><p>بكالوريوس في التكنولوجيا الطبية أو علوم المختبرات الإكلينيكية أو المؤهل المكافئ الذي يتطلب تدريبًا لا يقل عن 3 سنوات ومدة سنة تركيز في المنهج في تخصص فرعي ضمن منهج المؤهلات الأساسية أو شهادة من ASCP في التخصص.</p></li><li><p>ماجستير أو مؤهل دراسات عليا في ذلك التخصص من برنامج معتمد يؤهل للتسجيل مع ASCP أو CSMLS أو ما يعادله.</p></li><li><p>خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين في المختبر الطبي في إجراءات علم الأمراض النسيجي مطلوبة لحملة البكالوريوس. إذا كان ماجستير أو ماجستير فسيكون سنة واحدة من الخبرة المطلوبة في علم الأمراض النسيجي.</p></li><li><p>يجيد التحدث والكتابة باللغة الإنجليزية. اللغة العربية مرغوبة لكنها ليست أساسية.</p></li><li><p>القدرة على تعلم واستخدام أنظمة الأتمتة وتطبيقات تكنولوجيا المعلومات مرغوبة لكنها ليست أساسية.</p></li></ol>

<h2 class="h5">وصف العمل</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <p>يُجري اختبارات سريرية في أي من مجالات الاختصاص أو مزيج منها وفقاً لحجم ونطاق نشاط المختبر. قد يُكلف أو يتلقى إشرافاً من رئيس الفنيين.</p><br><br>المسؤوليات:<br><ol><li>يجهّز عينات الأنسجة للتحليل المجهري الروتيني.&nbsp;</li><li>يُسجَل الوصف العام للعينات الصغيرة وغير المعقدة عند اللزوم، باستخدام مصطلحات محددة وفق الإجراء.&nbsp;</li><li>يتم إعداد عينات الأنسجة باستخدام الإجراءات الصحيحة للحفظ بما في ذلك المعالجة والتجميد والتضمين وفق الإجراء المعمول به.</li><li>يتم تقسيم عينات الأنسجة باستخدام تقنيات مقطعية جيدة على شرائح مِيكروتوم لإنتاج شرائح عالية الجودة مناسبة للصباغة وفق الإجراءات.</li><li>يُرتّب عبء العمل ويُدار لتحقيق أوقات الاستجابة المتوقعة (TATs).</li><li>تُحافظ الكفاءة وتُضاف مهارات جديدة مع تغير التكنولوجيا.</li><li>يصبغ الأنسجة للصيغ الروتينية والصبغات الخاصة والتألق المناعي والتصبغ المناعي الكيميائي ووِ Histochemistry حسب الطلب.</li><li>يُحضّر المحلول الكيميائي والصبغات، وتُسجّل وتُخزّن بدقة وفق الإجراء والحاجة.</li><li>يُجرى الصبغ بدقة وتُسجل نتائج مراقبة الجودة (QC). يتم تقييم جودة الصبغة لقبولها قبل إطلاق المقاطع النسيجية إلى طبيب الأمراض الوراثية المطلوب.</li><li>يتم التواصل بنتائج جودة الصبغة إلى المشرف و/أو الطبيب المطلوب.</li><li>يتم تطوير صبغات جديدة وتطبيقها حسب الحاجة بالتعاون مع المشرف وموظفي علم الأمراض والفنيين الآخرين.</li><li>يُحافظ على تشغيل معدات المختبر وفقاً لتوصيات الشركة الصانعة والإجراءات.</li><li>تُشغَّل الأجهزة اللازمة لوظائف علم الأنسجة وفق إرشادات الشركات المصنعة ووفق الإجراءات.</li><li>يُعرف عطل الأجهزة ويتم إجراء استكشاف أخطاء لضمان التشغيل الدقيق. يتم صيانة الأجهزة وتوثيقها وفق جدول مُحدد.</li><li>الامتثال لجميع سياسات وإجراءات السلامة المهنية والوقاية من العدوى والتعاون مع إدارة المستشفى للامتثال لتلك المتطلبات.</li><li>يعمل وفق الإجراءات والتعليمات الموثقة للسلامة المهنية ومسؤوليات محددة.</li><li>يكون مُلمّاً بإجراءات الطوارئ والإخلاء.</li><li>الإبلاغ عن مخاطر السلامة المهنية والحوادث والحوادث القريبة ومساعدة في إعداد تقييمات المخاطر والتقارير الحادثة.</li><li>الامتثال لإجراءات وسياسات إدارة النفايات.</li><li>يحضر برامج تدريب السلامة المهنية/مكافحة العدوى المرتبطة، وتدريبات محاكاة وبرامج توعية.</li><li>استخدام معدات الحماية الشخصية المناسبة ونظام السلامة.</li></ol><p>المسؤوليات العامة: -</p><br><ol><li>العمل في جميع الورديات وفق الجدول الذي يحدده قسم رئيس القسم أو رئيس قسم علم النسيج المرضي.</li><li>الالتزام الصارم بأنظمة وسياسات المنظمة وخاصة المرتبطة بالوقاية من العدوى وسلامة المرضى وOSHAD وDOH وDHA وMOH وJCI وISO.</li><li>دعم التحسين المستمر للجودة والمشاركة والمساهمة في جميع أنشطة ضمان الجودة للخدمة.</li><li>المشاركة والمساهمة في برامج التدريب المُجدولة أثناء الخدمة.</li><li>يمتلك مهارات تواصل فعّالة مع موظفي القسم والزملاء والإدارة.</li><li>يحافظ على السرية وفق الاتفاق الموقّع.</li><li>يُظهر القدرة على الاستماع للآخرين لتعزيز التواصل الفعال.</li><li>يDevelop فهمًا شاملاً لسياسات وإجراءات المستشفى ويظهر الاحترام لها.</li><li>يؤدي مهام أخرى عند طلب رئيس قسم علم الأمراض المرضية.</li></ol><br>المؤهلات:<br><ol><li>رخصة DOH/DHA سارية كمختبر تقني ذو خبرة في علم الأنسجة.</li><li>بكالوريوس في تكنولوجيا الطب أو علم المختبرات الإكلينيكية أو مؤهل مكافئ يتطلب ألا يقل عن 3 سنوات من التدريب. وسنة واحدة من التخصص في المنهج الأساسي أو شهادة ASCP في التخصص.</li><li>ماجستير / دراسات عليا في ذلك التخصص من برنامج معتمد يؤدي إلى التسجيل لدى ASCP/CSMLS أو ما يعادله.</li><li>خبرة مختبر طبي لا تقل عن سنتين في إجراءات علم النسيج المرضي مطلوبة لحاملي درجة البكالوريوس. إذا كان الدراسات العليا / الماجستير فتصبح سنة واحدة من خبرة المختبر الطبي في علم النسيج المرضي مطلوبة.</li><li>الطلاقة في الإنجليزية المحكية والمكتوبة، ويفضل العربية، لكن ليست أساسية.</li><li>القدرة على تعلم والتعامل مع أنظمة التشغيل الآلي وبرامج تكنولوجيا المعلومات مرغوبة لكنها ليست أساسية.</li></ol>

<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>To provide evaluation and treatment to patients of all ages with speech, language, cognitive-communicative, voice and swallowing disorders. He/ She will assume delegated responsibility for delivering clinical governance and service development including settling priorities for this area of service in collaboration with their line manager.</p><p>2.2 The post holder will be an autonomous practitioner providing highly specialized Speech and language therapy services on a caseload of clients with complex needs. A significant proportion of these clients will use Arabic as their first language and possibly English as an additional language (EAL).</p><p>2.3 He/ She will be expected to manage their own caseload, providing second opinions and specialist advice. He/ She will work alongside multidisciplinary staff to ensure highly specialist therapy programs and care plans are in place for the clients under their care.</p><p>2.4 He/ She will be expected o lad collaborative working with patients/ clients, parents/ cares, in planning and delivery of services.</p><p>2.5 The post holder will participate in team meetings, routinely leading audit and research projects, they will plan, deliver and evaluate specialist training to other professional and patients / cares on all aspects of swallowing, speech, language and communication.</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>3.1 Undertake duties in accordance with the philosophy, business practices and policies of NMCRH-KC, and practicing within the standards and ethics of the Speech and Language therapist profession.</p><p>3.2 Working as a professional member of a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team and actively participating in team meetings.</p><p>3.3 Effectively communicating with staff members, health professionals, clients and family with regards to provision of services.</p><p>3.4 Contributing to, and participating in, education programs for residents, relatives and staff of NMCRH-KC.</p><p>3.5 Participating in continuing education and courses updating Speech and Language therapy techniques and information.</p><p>3.6 Ensuring Speech and Language therapy treatments are based on sound evidence of benefit.</p><p>3.7 Ensuring all adverse clinical events are recorded and reported.</p><p>3.8 Assisting in the on-going maintenance of a safe work place through involvement in the implementation of safe systems of work.</p><p>3.9 Identifying and reporting hazards in the workplace.</p><p>3.10 Participating in NMCRH-KC Quality Management System and commitment to processes of continuous improvement activities, including auditing, surveys and needs analysis.</p><p>3.11 Other duties as directed by the HOD or the Medical team.</p><p>3.12 Is expected to hold an appropriate qualification and be registered with their professional and/or statutory registration/authorizing professional organizations. SLP’s are also required to hold a license from the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD).</p><p>3.13 Must maintain and update professional knowledge and skills to screen, assess and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders.</p><p>3.14 If the SLP has a dual qualification that includes Audiology he / she may screen, evaluate the hearing status of the residents.</p><p>3.15 Must develop and implement linguistically and culturally appropriate strategies and tools to work with patients.</p><p>3.16 Must engage in at least the following appropriate strategies to manage Arabic first language speakers:</p><p>a) Demonstrate knowledge and skill sufficient to analyze and manage the phonetics, linguistics and social use of the Arabic language parameters (cf. dialectically relevant to at least Emirati national citizens);</p><p>b) Engage the services of a suitably trained translator.</p><p>3.17 Quality, Health, Safety and Security:</p><p>3.17.1 Adheres to the requirements of the Environment Health and Safety Management System.</p><p>3.17.2 Adheres to the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Guidelines and Infection Control Guidelines.</p><p>3.17.3 Understands and adheres to emergency preparedness, fire safety and code policies/plans.</p><p>3.18 Comply with all OSH and infection control policies, standards and procedures and cooperate with hospital management to comply those requirements</p><p>3.19 Work accordance with the documented OSH procedures and instructions, specific responsibilities</p><p>3.20 Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures</p><p>3.21 Notifying OSH Hazards, incidents, Near misses and issues and assistance with the preparation of risk assessments, incident reports</p><p>3.22 Comply with Waste management procedures and policies</p><p>3.23 Attend applicable OSH/Infection control training programs, mock drills and awareness programs</p><p>3.24 Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems</p><p></p></section>
