Licensed Aircraft Engineer - Base Maintenance

Job Description Job Purpose At Base Maintenance, our expert engineers deliver unparalleled service for all aircraft checks, from comprehensive inspections to major system repairs. We handle cabin retrofits, aircraft deliveries, and detailed inspection programs for Airbus A380, A350 and Boeing 777. Our team excels in timely, cost-effective solutions for A & C checks, engine change, and landing gear changes, along with unscheduled maintenance and pre-service checks. To carry out routine maintenance tasks and defect rectification of aircraft as per company and associated regulatory procedures. In This Role You Will Carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in compliance with manufacturer and safety procedures. Ensure that assigned zones/aircraft are maintained as per latest revisions of approved authority Technical Publications such as Aircraft documentation, Technical Notices, Quality Notices, and Engineering Procedures Manual etc. Ensure that personal approvals/licences are valid and applicable to aircraft types. Ensure all off-aircraft tasks i.e. spares handling, robberies, hold items etc. are handled in compliance with company procedures and that the associated paperwork is complete to ensure full transparency. Determine if tooling/equipment used is serviceable and appropriate for the task and use specialised tooling where required. Ensure that trouble shooting procedures/tools used for fault rectification are carried out in a cost effective and efficient manner. Carry out component changes as necessary as part of trouble shooting process and/or as directed by immediate supervisor. These should be done in accordance with AMM, IPC or other manufacturer/vendor documentation to complete the task. Ensure that all activities performed are carried out in accordance with all safety rules and regulations and in adherence to company procedures, highlighting an deficiencies/requirements (whether for aircraft or hangar use) through the effective use of reporting tools in support of the overall quality improvement process and actively participate in propagating and enhancing the Group safety culture. Ensure all work locations are kept clean and excellent housekeeping conditions are maintained. Maintain effective communication with Colleagues including Managers and Senior Engineers to ensure a seamless flow of information and to highlight any potential operational issues. Ensure that relevant reports are related to service delays, incidents and accidents are completed in detail including the identification of issues that led to the event so that rectification can be sought through short term maintenance planning. Manage the performance of staff using performance review process and system. Ensure SMART goal setting, interim/annual reviews and development plans are in place for assigned staff members in accordance with company procedures. Attend training/recurrent modules as required to enhance skills and comply with CAR 145. Qualification To be considered for the role you must meet the below requirements: Licensed Aircraft Engineer TE.03 Degree/Honors (12+3) in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronic, or Technical Engineering, or a Maintenance Engineering Licence. Minimum 10 years of Engineering experience, with 5+ years as certifying staff. Minimum of 2 aircraft type approvals with at least one of the Emirates aircraft types (A380, A350, or B777). Preferred GCAA, UK CAA or EASA license eligible for conversion. Fully conversant with Air Legislation and legal matters that relate to the operation and maintenance of aircraft to international standards. We are seeking a strong leader and product strategy owner capable of systematically scaling the division's products at the intersection of customer needs, technology, and strict compliance, fully transitioning product decision-making away from hands-on founder management. Responsibilities • Product Strategy and Roadmap: Taking full ownership of the product strategy and a comprehensive roadmap for all core division products (Oson Neo, OsonX, international payments). • Prioritizing the product backlog effectively based on business value and available resources. Job Description Lead the delivery of assigned project packages, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality targets. Supervise and manage contractors to ensure works are executed as per specifications, drawings, and project milestones. Direct, coordinate, and monitor the supervision team in conducting daily inspections of construction activities. Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements and promote a safety-first culture across all site operations. Resolve site-related issues promptly, providing sound engineering judgment and ensuring proper documentation. NDRC methods Valid UAE Driving License. Additional Information The Resident Engineer must have full knowledge of the existing sewerage networks in the Emirates of Dubai. Familiar with the DM general conditions of contract, quality assurance, quantity surveying, and project network techniques (primavera p3). Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Primavera P3. He shall be confident in his ability to control the work. Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Highway Engineer to join our dynamic Dubai Highway Team. The successful candidate will play a key technical and leadership role in the planning, design, and delivery of major highway and road infrastructure projects in the UAE and the wider Middle East region. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, guide the development of design solutions, ensure technical excellence, and support the growth of our Transportation business by fostering client relationships and mentoring future engineering talent. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and delivery of highway and road infrastructure projects, including expressways, urban roads, interchanges, junction improvements, and active mobility corridors. Provide technical leadership and oversight for geometric design, horizontal and vertical alignments, cross-sections, and associated highway elements in accordance with UAE and international standards (AASHTO, DM, RTA, AASHTO Green Book). Review, coordinate, and integrate designs with other disciplines (structures, drainage, utilities, traffic, and environmental teams). Act as the technical authority for complex engineering challenges, ensuring designs meet safety, sustainability, and constructability requirements. Prepare and review technical reports, feasibility studies, design documents, specifications, and tender documents. Engage with clients (such as RTA, ADM, and other regional authorities), attend project meetings, and provide expert technical input. Contribute to project planning, resource allocation, and quality assurance to deliver projects on time and within budget. Mentor and develop junior engineers and provide knowledge sharing across the Transportation team. Support business development efforts including proposal preparation, presentations, and client relationship management. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (Master’s preferred). 15+ years of relevant experience in highway engineering and design, preferably with exposure to major UAE or GCC infrastructure projects. Chartered / Professional Engineer status (CEng, PE, or equivalent) is strongly preferred. Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of highway and road infrastructure projects. Comprehensive knowledge of regional authority standards (RTA, DM, ADM) and international highway design codes (AASHTO, DMRB, etc.). Strong understanding of road safety engineering, sustainable transport solutions, and digital delivery tools (Open Roads, Civil 3D, Infraworks, etc.). Excellent technical report writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proactive, collaborative, and able to work in a fast-paced consultancy environment.
