The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of airline reservation and inventory management processes, schedule distribution, availability controls, and downstream impacts across commercial systems.</p><br><br><p>You should have hands-on expertise in Java-based test automation, with experience in Python considered a strong advantage. The role requires a strong quality engineering mindset and the ability to validate complex integrations across airline systems and services</p><br><br><p>If you are passionate about shaping the future of quality engineering and contributing to the renowned success of Emirates, we invite you to apply and help build world-class digital experiences.</p><br><br><p>In this role, you will:</p><br><br><ul><li>Work closely with project members, architects and software engineers to understand the technical landscape and the context of deliveries to translate complex functional and non-functional requirements.</li><li>Work closely with product owners to provide early feedback on any foreseen risks in the product requirements and design.</li><li>Work with the Quality Engineering Chapter team to ensure non-production environments and test data are available to support the complete set of testing activities across feature teams.</li><li>Liaise with other release train teams to manage the testing of cross dependencies.</li><li>Ensure Test Tools are configured correctly and accurately to support the collection of metrics for program and enterprise-wide dashboards.</li><li>Support and guide Software Engineers to write and maintain automated functional tests through continuous integration.</li><li>Implement, maintain, and adapt automation frameworks and test harnesses to ensure robust end to end tests.</li><li>Facilitate the set up and adherence to Quality Gate requirements.</li></ul>Qualification<p>To be considered for the role, you must meet the requirements below:</p><br><br><ul><li>Degree or Honours in relevant field such as Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.</li><li>3 + years of experience in an Information Technology. </li><li>Extensive experience working within airline commercial systems, including Availability &amp; Inventory Management, Schedule</li><li>Management, Reservation Systems, and Passenger Service Systems (PSS).</li><li>Strong understanding of airline concepts such as flight schedules, inventory classes, booking classes, seat allocation, availability calculations, codeshares, schedule changes, and disruption management.</li><li>Proven experience leading quality engineering activities across multiple products within airline commercial or reservation domains.</li><li>Hands-on expertise in developing and maintaining robust UI, API, integration, and contract automation frameworks using Java and modern testing technologies.</li><li>Experience validating complex integrations between PSS, inventory, scheduling, distribution, and downstream consumer applications.</li></ul><p><strong>Leadership Role:</strong> No</p><br><br>Salary &amp; benefits<p>Join us in Dubai and enjoy an attractive tax-free salary and travel benefits that are exclusive to our industry, including discounts on flights and hotel stays around the world.
